EA Launcher not starting ME LE
I played 2 days ago, the ME series is my preferred game and I finished 1-3 over 25 times. My fiber provider had a tech yesterday and I tried to start a offline session... what didn't work. Connection is back but the EA Launcher just stands on: Launching Game.. now for about 1 hour. I did a repair.. Repair successful.. but nothing makes the game start again. This App is just a hassle and EA is off my list to ever buy a game again. If you can't run a working Launcher for your own games, you suck! I honestly had enough with this crap app, is not the first time it refuses to start a game i bought. Worst app ever.. and I got my first PC with 15 (VC20).. now 56 years old.Doubleanal697 days agoNew Novice31Views0likes0CommentsMass Effect 5 ?
The Mass Effect series is by far the best best gaming experience I've ever had and I'm an old dude from way back to the Atari Pong days. I haven't always gamed, had to raise a family. Now I'm older, everyone is grown and gone and I got bored. So, I bought an Xbox Series S. Played a lot of games and then found the Mass Effect series. No other of the thousands of games I've played even compare to this, being able to make discussion choices that change the outcome of the game, the graphics, the storyline, romances, variable endings, it is like living in the moment, in a movie, being part of the game and story. This is awesome. Don't make us wait too long for Mass Effect 5 or whatever you will name it. With the creation of AI you could develop the most interactive and realistic game imaginable, I'm getting old fast, retirement is right around the corner. Do this old man with nothing else to do a favor, get on with creating the newest Mass Effect, keep this series and legacy going for generations to come, in other words, hurry the heck up young folk, I ain't got all day 😁. I need another interactive adventure before my time runs out or I start to lose my faculties. Today's TV shows and Movies suck. I need a gaming experience I can feel a part of. Sincerely ~ old guy biding the time he has left on earth ✌️26Views1like0CommentsProblem with Mass Effect Archives website
Hello, first time posting here. When trying to access the Career tab on the website I'm recieving an error message reading: "Oops, an error occured. Please refresh the page and retry." Refreshing the page does not fix anything, in fact the same error occurs when pressing the Sync Career button. This error persists even when trying to use the page on another device. Also this has been an issue since last December at the very least.19Views0likes0CommentsHow to get live chat support?
Hello all, My profile was banned after 2 days of owning Mass Effect Andromeda. I appealed and was then told the ban would remain, I was then allowed to re-appeal and it now shows the status of waiting on studio. It ruined the time I booked off work to play the game, it ruined the new Xbox profile I started when I got the Series X two months ago. Because they don't/won't explain exactly why they ban you, I've been looking around the net and on this forum and different things seem to crop up. 1: Possible that a player you played alongside in online mode has reported you falsely. 2: The AI bots EA use are banning new accounts. 3: EA put the wrong version on Andromeda on the Series X. Rather than it being the standard edition, they give you access to the deluxe edition and this is causing problems. 4: The merge of EA Play and some old EA app is causing the issue. I could continue playing the single player, but it still means my account would be banned and prevent me from further EA games access, which was the whole reason I bought the Series X in the first place, so that I could play all those incredible backwards compatible games from BioWare, EA and the Dead Space franchise. I spoke with N7Shepard on here who took the time to look into it for me (thank you once again), but the community managers on here can only do so much when it comes to account access. I cannot for the life of me find a way to chat/live chat with an actual human operator though to see if I can clear this up and get back to enjoying the Mass Effect Andromeda game. Another issue this has caused is due to the fact I cannot unlock strike team achievements. I truly enjoy having all my favourite games at 100% completion, but this has ruined the entire experience for me at the moment. Wasted days holiday, normal days off work etc. And for extra icing they issued this on my birthday. Cheers EA :D........... :( That was long winded. You can tell I'm older haha. So aside from opening a case, how do you actually use live chat to talk with someone as I cannot find the option? Is live chat only available for the US market?Dmcdamage27 days agoRising Newcomer84Views0likes0CommentsTo the developer of Mass Effect
I absolutely love all the mass effect games. I love how you can make decisions that change the outcome of the game. I love the flow of the game. How cool would it be to make a full G.I. Joe series designed exactly the same way the Mass Effect gameplay is. The choices you make change the outcome or you can unlock different cobra or Gil Joe characters you can play from either Gi joe or Cobra in fully emerged 360 degree worlds, and bases that would be cool.39Views0likes0CommentsNew Game Mass Effect
Hello BioWare Team, As a long-time and dedicated fan of the Mass Effect series, I would like to contribute an idea regarding story continuity in the upcoming game. Given the various endings of Mass Effect 3 and the teaser with Liara and the N7 armor, it's clear that addressing this will be crucial for many. I propose the following approach, which would respect player choices while allowing for a strong continuation of the story: * Allow save imports from any Mass Effect 3 ending: Enable players to transfer their saved game regardless of which ME3 ending they chose (Destroy, Control, Synthesis, Refuse). This would honor their investment and emotional decisions. * Canonicalize the "Destroy" ending (with Shepard's survival) through additional content: * For players who import a save from the "Destroy" ending (under conditions where Shepard survives), the new game would unlock special dialogues, side quests, and deeper interactions related to Shepard's return and their romantic relationships. This would serve as a direct continuation of their story. * Explanation for Shepard's survival: This could be simply linked to the nanotechnology and enhancements Shepard received through Project Lazarus in Mass Effect 2. If Shepard survived such an ordeal, surviving the final explosion, supported by these enhancements, would make sense. * EDI's fate: Similarly, if the Normandy could be repaired (as suggested by the scene after the Destroy ending), EDI, as its integral digital component, could also be restored in some way, perhaps in a different form or requiring reactivation. Her deep connection to the ship could serve as a bridge. * For other endings: If a player imports a save from another ending (Control, Synthesis, Refuse), the new game could assume that Shepard did not physically survive and became a legend. Dialogues and the story in such cases would focus on Shepard's legacy and its repercussions, but without directly continuing their personal relationship storylines. Players would still be immersed in the world, but would be subtly motivated to try the Destroy ending if they wish to experience the "complete" narrative. I believe this approach would allow BioWare to continue Shepard's powerful story (as hinted by the teaser), while respecting the diversity of player choices and providing players with clear motivation. Hey everyone, fellow Mass Effect fans! I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now and I'd love to hear what you all think about it. It's about connecting the Mass Effect 3 endings with the new game and the potential return of Shepard. My thought is that BioWare could allow us to import our saves from ME3 with any ending, but the dialogue options related to romantic relationships and full Shepard continuity would only unlock if you chose the "Destroy" ending where Shepard survives. This could be explained by the nanotechnology from the Lazarus Project. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it would help BioWare elegantly bridge the story and also respect player choices? Let me know in the comments. Thank you!40Views1like0CommentsSuggestion: EA collaborate with Discord on a Mass Effect Profile Collection
What if EA reached out to Discord to license them out the branding of Mass Effect for a new store collection. Personally I'd really love a N7 background effect or nameplate on Discord. Some ideas I have: Quarian Helmet Avatar Decoration, Reaper (Attached/clutching the side of the avatar) Avatar Decoration, Liara (Asari) Avatar Decoration, Turian Armor Avatar Decoration, Paragon/Renegade Profile Effect & Nameplate, N7 Profile Effect & Nameplate, Mass Relay Profile Effect, Normandy SR2 Profile Effect, Omni Blade Nameplate Would be nice for those of us who want to display our love for the series on our Discord accounts. I see other games up there :) What do you think?VanillaSpooks4 months agoRising Newcomer40Views1like0Commentsachievements are not unlocked
I just finished Mass Effect 2 via Steam, and I got a romance with Miranda and completed it on Insanity. When I did this, the respective achievements were not unlocked. I clarify that I never touched anything about the difficulty. I spent 42 hours playing to get the Platinum, and this is happening to me.😢😢37Views0likes0CommentsTerrible Service In General
So I recently redownloaded Star Wars battlefront 2 loaded it up to a password being expired due to being logged off so long come to the realization I don’t have that email or phone number from 2017 but I have the same account fully updated etc (I just don’t play a lot EA Play) I have been drastically trying to get my Old EA account unlinked from my Xbox account because it’s a once a lifetime link and I can’t play or link a new EA! I have had Microsoft tell me they couldn’t unlink but provide any assistance with my account so I’m chatting with an EA support member whilst on the phone with Microsoft these answers are from the Source of my account and it’s entirety, only to be told they couldn’t match my indentity with their systems which is going off of 2017-2018 information with no updates since then. Terrible Experience Full Loss of a game I paid for due to this and the support person was just so unhelpful but I guess ima have to make a Smurf account to enjoy ma game smh. I can play on pc and I do but this game isn’t cross play with Xbox/PS so solo runs yaaaay22Views0likes0CommentsInteresting concept for devs/modders to explore
Is our universe contained inside a black hole? If so, what's out there if/when we break out? Combine it with DC's Brainiac concept, where there's a race keeping hundreds of universes in bottled-up black holes to study? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKeCr-MAyH4&ab_channel=StarTalkjklauderdale5 months agoNewcomer23Views0likes0CommentsHelp! Stuck on Loading Screen After Boarding the Ship in ME3 Citadel Mission
after fighting through the vehicle shop and trying to board the ship, my game gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. I’ve tried: - Reinstalling the game - Disabling all mods - Reloading earlier saves Nothing works Playing on Steam (Legendary Edition). Any fixes or suggestions? Hey peeps! I recently downloaded the ME Legendary Edition and then started a play through of Andromeda. I cannot get the game to connect to online, I keep getting a “Network Connection Error” message. My internet is working fine (I can play other games on GamePass without issues as well as multiplayer on other games) and I do have an EA Play account. I tried all the troubleshooting tips I could find online (Persistent storage, alternate MAC, delete local saves, etc). Somewhere I saw it could be a linking issue with your EA account and XBox. So I logged into my EA play account that matches my XBox account and I got this message when I tried to link them. Your accounts can't be linked because your Xbox account RhiRun already linked to your EA Account for d *****@disabled.ea.com. An EA Account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime. I have zero idea where to go from here. Thanks for any info!46Views0likes0CommentsMass Effect collection and Legendary Edition removed from library
Why was my Mass effect Collection edition with all the dlc's and Legendary edition was removed from my library? and if i want them back to contact game hub. Wtf is this? and Why is saying "you removed" I never did such thing. I still have the case i bought many years ago.73Views0likes0CommentsError: Failed to launch game, An error on our end caused the launch to...
I bought ME:LE on steam and played it for about a week. Then a day or two after getting to ME2, one day the game stopped launching and instead reported the error in the title. When I attempt it in offline mode I get no error, and it fails silently. The game launcher never starts up. Something stops in steam and I can only suspect it has to do with the EA app. Just an assumption really though. I have tried every measure I could find. And every suggested steps to correct the problem that EA help could provide. And I have tried many things on my own. I feel at this point I have tried everything. So I am posting here to preserve the info. I even went so far as to do a complete format and reinstall of windows. a fresh install of the game, and a freshly downloaded and updated EA app. And the problem persists just as before. It has been about 10 days now. Will update if I get anything. -JosiahJosiahCOgram6 months agoRising Newcomer47Views1like0CommentsEA App integration fix for ME3MP
Okay, so back when we had the first iteration of... questionable software implementation that was Origin - we had the ability to interact 'properly' with users in our friends list through the Origin overlay. This mainly meant things like being able to invite people mid-game to our lobbies and, by extension, being able to run private lobbies without having to worry about losing people, which is especially important with the current state of the game. (being both very dead from an updates perspective and very very buggy from a technical perspective). I'm sure I speak for the entire PC multiplayer player base, which is still surprisingly active, when I say that with the increasingly unstable and problematic experience of running and playing the actual game, it is really important to us to have lobby management and social features working as well as possible. The fact that you can invite people from the lobby means that the functionality is present and working so it should just be a case of actually implementing things properly. If not, adding support for other platforms like Discord or Steam social systems (a ridiculous long shot I know) would be better than nothing as the current state is one of the main draws for many people to this game today is the multiplayer experience which is getting harder and harder to enjoy for all of us. Would appreciate any EA response to this.Local_Boomer436 months agoSeasoned Newcomer25Views1like0Comments
