Mass Effect 1 won't launch in ME:LE
I've already downloaded the game, tried with utf-8, turned off the firewall, nothing helps. I just launch the launcher and click to play part 1, a window appears with the game launching and then it simply returns to the launcher, all subsequent parts launch smoothly.Solved29Views0likes2Comments
Mass Effect Legendary Edition not launching on Steam Deck
I've found 3 threads on EA about Mass Effect not launching on Windows from the last month. I'm afraid I've had the same issue on Steam Deck too :( Things I've tried: Verifying the integrity of the game cache Launching from desktop mode Uninstalling and reinstalling Launching after reinstall from desktop mode also I've updated steam, proton and mas effect. Would anyone have any other suggestions on fixes? I've been connected to stable internet every time I've launched it. It will say I'm playing it, then immediately close. The closest I got to anything was after I reinstalled it and launched it from desktop mode where the EA app opened a window which said it was installing. But then of course it didn't launch :( I'm 100+ hours in and I just want to finish ME3. Mass Effect legendary missing language
Hello all, i have buyed ME Legendary edition, the main page of the app, in the game description, says that there are 7 languages supported, but once i have installed my game, there are only 4. Italian is supported but in the language choice menu is not mentioned. How can I download it? It seems that EA support cannot be contacted. Unable to fully launch LE on PC
This just came up today. Every time I try to launch ME3 (which I'm currently on), it will briefly show the cover art like normal, then go to a zoomed in picture of the burned Earth loading screen. The ambient sound in the background will frequently stop and stutter. It will do this indefinitely. Attempting to click anything makes it stop responding, which then (eventually) kicks me back to the launcher after I force it to close. If I try to launch either of the first two games, same story, but different loading screen obviously. I have already tried: uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App, repairing the game, moving all my saved games out of the saves folder, forcing the EA App, Desktop, and Launcher to all run as administrator. Neither Start or Resume will allow me to continue. I was able to successfully run Dragon Age 2, just to compare. I do have mods, but I'm over 60 hours into a playthrough and this has never happened before. I've been at this for 6 hours now.Solved165Views0likes5CommentsMass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
Hi I'm having issues with accessing multiplayer mode. I haven't had issues in the past. I've previously owned Gamepass/EA Play so suspect this has broken something at some point, as I no longer have access to multiplayer. I've tried deleting the licence file, and reinstalling, repairing but this hasn't worked. No gamersettings.ini folder
I'm trying to change the resolution and other graphics settings for the LE, however there is no config folder in the game files for some reason. I've installed the LE on different places as this has fixed it for others but for me it didn't work. How can I get the gamersettings.ini file? Mass Effect 3 will not start
After logging into the EA app sucessfully and launching Mass Effect 3 2012 edition, I get the error message "we could not activate Mass Effect 3 (2012 Edition) on this computer using the Origin Account you provided. Please locate you product key to activate the game using you Origin Account." I press the button to enter the proper product key, and I get the message that I "must be online" to enter the key. I am online. I have full internet access, and my firewall settings give full access to all EA app components and the game ME3 itself. MEA : "Missing online Access"
I've seen many post with the same issue and my story is pretty much the same. I had an EA play sub that expired and now I cannot access the Mass effect Andromeda multiplayer. I've tried all of the fixes listed on this forum, and I've connected with multiple EA help agents over the last few days. I've seen most people restore their access, so I'm just wondering if anyone knows what I should tell the service agents to resolve the issue? I'm moving my games over to a new PC running Windows 11. I installed the game on my new PC using the EA Games app, and I got the DLC installer off of the EA website, but when I tried to run the EXE, it says it can't find the main game and won't install. This might be because I didn't install the main game in the default directory that the EA Games app was initially set for, but I'm not sure. Mass Effect LE takes 5-10 minutes to start
Every time I start the game, it shows up the "preparing" screen for a while and then it disappears. But after 5-10 minutes the game actually starts. After start the game runs fine with no issue. What I'm trying to say is that this "delay" of starting the game is "unnatural" and no reason for it to be this delayed thinking there is some issue with the game. [PC] Mass Effect Legendary Won't Open ME 1 from Launch Screen
I've been playing MELE for years, and I replay it frequently. Yesterday I finished ME 3 and today decided to restart the series with ME 1 and try importing my ME 3 character to see if it would keep the same weapons I had. Probably not, but why not try. I purchased the game on Steam and usually start the game by double clicking the icon on my desktop. Today, I started the game and got to the launch screen. I clicked 'Start" on ME 1 and it started with the graphic and music, but instead of opening ME 1 it seemed to get stuck on that screen, then it flashed a couple of times and sent me back to the launch screen. I tried several times, even tried restarting my computer. I also tried opening it from Steam, and also from the EA app. Same problem. Also, sometimes it kicks me all the way out to the launch screen, and when I reopen it and click on ME 1 it just goes to a blue screen and faintly shows the New Game, etc on the upper right hand side, then it crashes. The video I attached shows that scenario. I tried repairing the game in Steam, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, nothing worked. I've played this game flawlessly for years. Red lines everywhere in mass effect legendary(me1,me2,me3)
I have weird red lines over everything(this only happened on mass effect, I played alan wake 2, cyberpunk 2077, dead space and digimon cybersleuth with no issues). ME1 not launching
so not too long ago, I got ME:LE on steam. I downloaded it just fine, installed and logged into the EA app just fine, and the launcher itself boots up no problem. My issue is that when I go to click on ME1, it will just load up a bank black window and a splash screen that covers everything on my screen unless I just close that window. Task manager shows literally everything is running except for the masseffect.exe program, which it shows it's not responding. I can't even go to close this blank window unless I force stop it through task manager. I've tried setting a few things to be run as administrator, per the instructions of another user who was having this issue 2 years ago. Nothing is working. I am at my wits end here, I need help. Mass Effect 3 - Online Pass
I was referred here from the EA Support Chat and told to post here so a community manager can assist me in resolving this issue. I recently downloaded a DLC for the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer and it disabled my Online pass. This is a shame because I really enjoy the mass effect multiplayer and would love to play more. Mass Effect Legendary Edition crashes at splash screen
I have tried a lot of things to get any of my LE ME games to launch and to no avail. I can enter the launcher just fine, but I cannot load into any of the actual games and experience a crash at the splash screen into a black screen. I seem to remember something being wrong with a cloud save before it happened, but I am not exactly sure.
