Welcome to Season 3 of NHL 25 Hockey Ultimate Team. An all-new XP Path awaits along with weekly objectives and changes to the XP earn rate across various modes. This season’s XP Path is highlighted by the 92 OVR Dylan Larkin and 85 OVR XP Players who can be upgraded to 90 OVR with XP Tokens gained through the XP Path. Alongside the XP Path, we’re also releasing new Rivals-specific objectives and increasing the XP rate earned in Rivals games based on your division. We want to ensure that Rivals and online play become the most effective way to progress through the XP Path. Urgent Need to Address Menu Lag in NHL 25 and beyond.
Dear EA Sports Team, As a long-time fan of the NHL franchise, I want to begin by commending your efforts to deliver a fresh experience with NHL 25. However, like many players in the community, I’ve been frustrated by the persistent lag and sluggishness in the menu system The Problem Navigating the menus has become a tedious experience due to: 1.Slow Response Times: Whether I’m accessing the auction house, building my lineup, or navigating through event rewards, menus frequently lag or take several seconds to respond to inputs. 2.Unnecessary Delays: Animations, loading screens, and data fetching often make even simple tasks feel unnecessarily drawn out. 3.Performance Issues Across Platforms: While this problem is particularly noticeable on last-gen consoles (PS4/Xbox One), even current-gen platforms struggle, making it clear that the issue is systemic. Why This Matters Hockey Ultimate Team is a flagship mode for NHL 25. Its success depends on smooth, enjoyable user interaction. When basic navigation feels frustrating, it detracts from the overall experience and diminishes the fun of building and managing a team. For a mode that thrives on engagement, menu lag can lead to player burnout and a decrease in overall satisfaction. Potential Causes: While we, as players, don’t have access to the underlying systems, it seems like: Server-side dependency issues might be causing excessive load times when fetching data (e.g., auction house updates). Poor optimization of menu assets, animations, or database calls could be adding unnecessary strain on the system. Outdated frameworks or “spaghetti code” may be contributing to the sluggish performance. Constructive Suggestions for Improvement Here are a few ideas the development team might consider to help resolve these issues: 1.Optimize Client-Side Performance: Streamline UI assets and animations and implement lazy-loading for non-essential elements to reduce strain on hardware. 2.Enhance Server Efficiency: Use caching and batching to reduce the frequency of server calls for repetitive data (e.g., frequently accessed items in the auction house). 3.Increase Transparency: Keep the community updated with detailed notes on performance improvements in patches. Acknowledging and addressing the issue directly will build trust with the player base. 4.Focus on Testing and QA: Stress-test the system under heavy load to ensure it performs well during peak times. Four Nations XP Event Issue
Yesterday I got the pop up screen for the Four Nations XP event in HUT. But no matter how many times I hit the button to select my team nothing happened. The screen was locked so I had to restart the game. The pop up never reappeared and now I have no access to the XP event... So this is actually on NHL 24, but am posting here because I expect it may be more likely to be seen and hopefully responded to. I was still in the middle of a game at 5 PM ET when the weakly season ended. At the end of my game I got this error message saying something like 'unable to match you to opponents', and now I am not able to access the new season. Instead, I see a countdown to the season that will start next Wednesday. I fear that not only will I need to wait to the following Wednesday to play Squad Battles but my rewards from the season just ended will be lost. Anyone had this problem and/or know how to go about getting a resolution?
4 Nations Rewards Missing
I chose Canada at the very beginning and never received the prompt again. I do not have my final token available which is your fault all because you can't even roll out content to function properly, let alone release it as expected. You can make sure O86_Pockets receives this token, it's the least you can do. Embarrassing.

Where isEA_Aljo ? Has anything that’s been “passed on to the team” been addressed? Sets not being fixed? Events expiring early? Wrong event cards in packs? Not getting rewards/packs? Nothing on EANHLs socials addressing these either. Unless you count the people in the comments complaining about these issues.

EA_AljoGotta eventually address the community. Let’s speak about the rewards. Open up dialogue about this and let’s talk. You want our feedback, you’ll get it. Rewards are going to destroy HUT. Stop avoiding this and let’s address this massive issue. Please let me know who I need to contact at EA to pass along this feedback as it’s clear you don’t want anything to do with it. The announcer is always calling my team the Tuscan road runners! I am the Detroit Red Wings. It's very annoying. It does it 99% of the time! Even in wild card and hut. Please fix asap EA. I've noticed my AI behaving different after week 2 of gallery of the greats came out. I can set them to full forecheck and they still play very passive. when I lose possession of the puck, not even on a turnover just simply the puck not being possessed by anyone my defense leaves the zone and all of my forwards start retreating to the blueline, and on a turnover its the same thing, they don't try any forechecking or plays to regain control, same for defensive pressure I can set that to full pressure but all of my AI act like it is contain puck and huddle in front of the goalie causing a massive screen. Going against AI I'm not sure if their shots have been cranked or if my goalies got nerfed because all of a sudden they cant stop shots like how they used to. For instance I had a game with my 89 GOTG Hasek against an 80 overall goalie where I had over 30 shots on goal with 5 goals and Hasek lets in 6 goals in under 10 shots all scored by AI that are less than 83 overall or less. I have actually swapped hasek for an 85 hellebuyck for the time being because he can stop these stupid cheap shots that Hasek can't. edit: Not really related to AI but passing has some issues as well. I've had multiple times where I had a breakaway and had a perfect one timer lined up and when I press lets say the X button for my winger who is right beside me instead of passing to him the puck gets sent behind the net completely ruining the chance of scoring with a one tee. I have also had some instances of doing D to D passes on the blue and out of nowhere instead of going across the blue my pass is sent down to my end of the ice Anyone else experiencing these lately?

Panarin moments
At this point this is ridiculous. It is so hard. You only have to be lucky to complete them, especially the 3 top shelf goals. Why does this “pro difficulty is suddently so hard to play against? The forecheck, the hitting, every sliders seems to be maxed out. And on top of it, we play against 90 ovr players with 80’ ovr.. not to mention Goalie Andersen has 4 superstar abilities. It seems so obvious now that you made ut this way so people buy the packs to get him in the store. It’s a joke. I hope you make them easier and that people who already bought pucks are refounded or given that amount of pucks again.
