Dear EA Sports Team, As a long-time fan of the NHL franchise, I want to begin by commending your efforts to deliver a fresh experience with NHL 25. However, like many players in the community, I’ve been frustrated by the persistent lag and sluggishness in the menu system The Problem Navigating the menus has become a tedious experience due to: 1.Slow Response Times: Whether I’m accessing the auction house, building my lineup, or navigating through event rewards, menus frequently lag or take several seconds to respond to inputs. 2.Unnecessary Delays: Animations, loading screens, and data fetching often make even simple tasks feel unnecessarily drawn out. 3.Performance Issues Across Platforms: While this problem is particularly noticeable on last-gen consoles (PS4/Xbox One), even current-gen platforms struggle, making it clear that the issue is systemic. Why This Matters Hockey Ultimate Team is a flagship mode for NHL 25. Its success depends on smooth, enjoyable user interaction. When basic navigation feels frustrating, it detracts from the overall experience and diminishes the fun of building and managing a team. For a mode that thrives on engagement, menu lag can lead to player burnout and a decrease in overall satisfaction. Potential Causes: While we, as players, don’t have access to the underlying systems, it seems like: Server-side dependency issues might be causing excessive load times when fetching data (e.g., auction house updates). Poor optimization of menu assets, animations, or database calls could be adding unnecessary strain on the system. Outdated frameworks or “spaghetti code” may be contributing to the sluggish performance. Constructive Suggestions for Improvement Here are a few ideas the development team might consider to help resolve these issues: 1.Optimize Client-Side Performance: Streamline UI assets and animations and implement lazy-loading for non-essential elements to reduce strain on hardware. 2.Enhance Server Efficiency: Use caching and batching to reduce the frequency of server calls for repetitive data (e.g., frequently accessed items in the auction house). 3.Increase Transparency: Keep the community updated with detailed notes on performance improvements in patches. Strategy Transparency
I find it really inaccessible to really figure out how to properly take advantage of team strategies from the sliders to how aggressive you want your team to be. I like to play a slower neutral zone passing game but I can’t really translate EA strategies into my play style and I have had to adopt a on the rush style fast offense. I feel there’s a lot of nuance to strategies that we are missing. I know EA provides explanations and videos for offensive strategies but I think a deep dive into all strategies would help us all understand better.
Top shelf goals challenge for Panarin collectibles is completely rigged.
They completely rigged empty net goals as well. There is absolutely no way to score top shelf on the empty net in this challenge. I have tried for 10 minutes with the opposing teams goalie pulled and not been able to get a single one yet. Slap shots break the stick every time. Wrist shots I have held to the side and aimed at the top of the net slide right along the ice into the bottom of the net. Can’t apply purple XP tokens to upgrade purple xp player
Today I unlocked the goalie kocheykov in HUT his overall can be upgraded to 88 well I have many upgrade cards, attached be low. The screenshot shows what happens when I go to apply these to the goalie it shows as if nothing is there. i have upgraded him two slot but the game is not recognizing my further XP tokens to upgrade him the remainder. HUT rewards are awful
There is no incentive to play rivals or squad battles. The rewards are so pointless. A bronze pack? A 76 overall card? A 78 overall card. And the best part in 55 days you get a 87 Eichel. An xfactor Nylander that I can obtain now is a better card. All you had to do is simply copy FC25 format of seasons where they still hand out division rivals rewards every week and squad battles. I basically don't have to log in till hut champs time now. Add weekly rivals and squad battle rewards back or the interest in this mode will die very very quickly.
