Out of utilities when I'm not
Hi there Why does it say that everywhere is out of water when I have plenty and all of my water is connected to roads? I've added some screenshots so you can see what I mean. This happened before with electricity and then one day just randomly disappeared, and was replaced with a water shortage with no apparent reason for it Please help!98Views1like4CommentsConstant power shortage, what should I do?
Hi! I keep having issues where buildings say they are getting no power or no water and that I need to fix this issue. I keep buying new power plants and new water plants and it’s not doing anything. I double checked and all my power/ water plants are connected to all the houses. It also says that my capacity for both beats the demand! So i’m not sure why i’m having this issue. What should I do? The happiness rating keeps going down and sims keep moving out. I attached one screenshot showing the capacity being greater than the demand and one of my city. Please help!5Views0likes0CommentsCozy Homes
Does anyone have pics of the cozy homes, preferably at various upgrade levels and in both snowy and no snow areas? I'm trying to decide whether I want to build some of them for my Frosty Fjords. I figured that I could build a bunch and leave them at low ranks until the event is over and to avoid needing to make a lot of the seasonal items. If, for some reason, drawing up new plans doesn't work properly (I don't exactly have much faith in EA atm), I'd still like to have them at a level where they look nice.daortidepikh2 hours agoRising Rookie97Views0likes6Comments✨Service 2.0 Update - Feedback Thread✨

Services 2.0 - More updates from EA
Hello Mayors 👋 Thank you for being among the first to experience Services 2.0. We know it’s a big change, and we truly appreciate your time, feedback, and patience. 1. 🔍 Existing issue: “Services in Red” We’re aware that some players are seeing “services in red”, such as some Service icons displaying in red in the data layer, even when total capacity appears higher than demand. Before considering this a bug, please: Make sure all Residential Zones are properly connected to roads—disconnected roads can block service delivery. Check that there are no abandoned Residential Zones in your city. For Area Services (Fire, Police, Health, ControlNet), ensure each service building’s capacity covers all Residential Zones in its range. If you’ve reviewed these points and the issue persists, we want to hear from you. We are closely monitoring these reports and working to resolve confirmed issues. Please submit a detailed bug report as explained below (screenshots or video really help!). Every bit of detail you provide speeds up our solution. 2. 📝 Services 2.0: How It Works Services 2.0 introduces big changes: Upgradeable Area Services Area Services like Fire, Police, Health, and ControlNet now have a Capacity amount that you can upgrade. Each service building can only serve a certain number of Residential Zones. Covering too many, or high-level Residential Zones, with unupgraded service buildings may cause issues—including buildings losing services or getting abandoned. You can solve this by upgrading existing ones, adding more, or using higher-tier service buildings. Maxis Manor and Maxis HQ have infinite capacity within their area of effect. Upgradeable Capacity Services Power, Water, etc. are also upgradeable. These changes help you save city space over time, thanks to greater service capacity after upgrades. Service Rollout and Suppression Period When Services 2.0 arrives, there’s a short suppression period where services won’t affect your city. After this, one new Service unlocks every 24 hours, starting with Power. This pacing helps you adjust before each Service becomes active. 3. 🎁 Helping You Adjust: Gifts for Players All existing players who received Services 2.0 have also received gifts—free service buildings, with some already fully upgraded, as well as currency. We calculated these individually based on your city’s progress and needs. Please check which Services you have already received, which can help you out when deciding how to best serve your city’s needs. You can find your gifts stored under each Service category in the build menu. 4. 🛠️ Your Concerns: Upgrade Costs and Rearrangement We heard your concerns about upgrade costs and rearranging your city. It can feel tough, especially if it seems like you’re re-earning what you had. Don’t forget—much of the value you need might be in your free gifts, so check those out! 5. 🐛 How to Report Bugs If you run into problems, please post in our Services 2.0 Feedback Thread. The most helpful reports include: A clear description of the issue Steps to reproduce it What you expected would happen What actually happened Screenshots or videos The more details you share, the faster we can address issues. Thank You! 🙏 Please Keep the Feedback Coming Services 2.0 marks a major step forward for the game and continues the evolution of SimCity BuildIt and its Mayors. Every report, suggestion, and comment is seen and discussed by the team, and they shape how we improve Services 2.0. We’re listening closely and we are committed to making this feature better with your help. We know change can be difficult—thank you for sticking with us, sharing your thoughts, and helping make the game better for everyone. Our improvements are ongoing, and your voice is a vital part of the conversation. My girlfriends cities building service demands are significantly higher than mine but I have a larger population and can’t work out why it’s different for both of us as she had a 7000 population but her demands for water and electric were 148 where as mine for an 10000 population was only 217qjqfj2qiyfm21 hours agoRising Newcomer65Views0likes3CommentsAre you serious EA?
Dont know where to start. EA are ruining Simcity. Gready and clueless on what the real players want. The last months they have reduced rewards massively. They seem to love the hackers that are ruining the warpart. Its overflowing with players that have played 5 seasons and have 10 lvl 20 disasters. And the theyre latest; They doubled prices on disastercards. So this way, the only way to reach lvl 20 is either to hack, or be a billionaire. Played for 6 years, used money on it. Now im done. Congrats EAEIRIKCOYS22 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer199Views8likes5CommentsServices aren't working , Now the game become 🤡
am experiencing a serious bug in Simcity buldit sewage and waste are not reaching buildings even though all roads are connected and utilities are built correctly, I rebuilt the city multiple times, moved utilities, and verified all connections. The issue persists. my population dropped from over 1100,000 to about 500,000. 🥲😡04vb8te4btbr23 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer164Views3likes4CommentsPlease fix the the Global Trade HQ
In the past, when traveling to other cities for trade, their Depot opened upon arrival. With latest update, we have to tap the depot to open it. Please change it back to the way it was for 11 years. It makes no sense. Trading has become a real chore and adding the extra step discourages it altogether. Thank you.mrjj2222 days agoSeasoned Vanguard33Views1like1Comment- 26Views0likes1Comment
FEEDBACK ON SERVICES 2.0 UPDATE
This update has been widely received as greatly disruptive to carefully designed cities, ruining previously functioning cities and driving players to high in-game currency costs simply to replace services and utilities that were sufficient prior to the update. It is causing players great distress and takes the joy out of a previously beloved game. To remedy this situation: 1) EA should compensate players for broken promises. From EA’s own announcement: "During the rollout, any negative effects from service coverage—like abandoned buildings or unhappy citizens—will be temporarily paused, so you can explore Services 2.0 without worry." This appears to not have been true — players who have received the update are reporting immediate negative effects, including dropping happiness levels, abandoned buildings requiring costly repairs, and great reductions in population levels resulting in reduced tax revenue. EA should offer compensation to all affected players — in form of in-game currencies — for these losses and the breaking of what was promised in the roll-out announcement. 2) Services 2.0 should be upgradable to at minimum meet the levels of the original services, so as to prevent longtime players having to rip up their carefully crafted designs that many of us spent years developing. To give one example: prior to the update, a small fire/police/health station could cover up to 18 residential zones max in the most economical layout. If with services 2.0 such a small station once fully upgraded can only cover 200 units, that means it can only cover 4 fully upgraded buildings (i.e., 4 epic buildings at 45 unit demand, or 180 units total). This would require a massive redesign, as to place either several more small stations or the bigger capacity stations to make up for the new capacity gap would require more space, which in a fully built city means demolishing of existing residential zones and/or removal of specialization buildings. This forced redesign of already developed and until now perfectly functioning cities is unacceptable. At the very least all services should have the ability to be upgraded to a max level that meets their original capacity. That is, for the small stations in the example, a max level of at least 18*45=810 units. Similar math should apply to all other services and utilities, including the Mayor’s Pass "Super Services" buildings.jnw99e7yjef62 days agoSeasoned Novice146Views3likes2CommentsI don't get any rewards even if I watch the ads

Is someone able to tell those of us who are not "in the know" - how are Maxis Manors and Maxis HQ impacted by the Services 2.0 update? I apologize for creating a new thread, but I am unsure if this question should go into the feedback thread or not. I have 4 Maxis Manors and 3 Maxis HQ's and I'd really hate to have to stop using them because of this rubbish update that nobody asked for. Should I just delete my last city? I haven't deleted my last remaining city simply because I've sank a lot of money into it, and this update has pretty much make me feel like I flushed my money down a toilet. Feedback to Developers: your methods of communication are completely terrible. Apparently (saying apparently because my last city hasn't received the services 2.0 yet) some fully upgraded service buildings have been dropped into our stored buildings - if this is so, you could have told us and saved yourselves and all of us a headache, and while it's extremely inconvenient, there may have been way less complaints. You could have also explained how Maxis HQ and Maxis Manors would be impacted by the Services update. COMMUNICATION HELPS.Solvedf2aj5m0efycy2 days agoSeasoned Ace204Views5likes6Comments
