The Sims 2: Castaway re-release?
Since it seems EA has been trying to make older Sims titles available for purchase on newer platforms, The Sims, The Sims 2 and the My Sims series of games. I really hope EA considers re-releasing The Sims 2 Castaway. It was a really underrated gem on the PS2/Wii and really deserves the re-release treatment so new players can experience it. I doubt anybody with enough pull to make this happen will ever read this but I'm really hoping this post helps get the idea to someone at EA!
How long have you been playing The Sims (any version) for?
I've been playing for 15+ years and have played and transitioned to all versions 1,2,3,4. After playing all these years this game holds a special place in my heart 💗. It sounds corny but this game has been there with me through many different (some difficult) stages of my life and has been my creative outlet to get through some of these stages.
Hi EA peeps :) REQUEST: SIMS CASTAWAY IN PC
I've been playing Sims since I was in grade school, and right now, I'm nearly in my 30s lol. This has been my go-to game whenever I'm happy or sad. I remember playing Sims Castaway with my PS2 way back. Since then, I discovered that I love nature. Growing up, I tended to find myself at peace whenever I was on our farm, planting veggies and fruits, and harvesting them. And I always daydream that I am in Castaway every time I am in the ocean, and right now I'm doing freediving :) <3 I just realized that Sims Castaway has a huge contribution to who I am now. I'm writing this letter or whatever to thank you for creating Sims, especially Sims Castaway. I just hope that you can also have this gameplay available on PC, because it's hard to find a PS2 right now. PS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Sims Castaway in PC :)
Sims Console titles on GameCube NSO!
It would be really great to be able to play The Sims 1 for Consoles, The Sims Bustin’ Out, and The Urbz, via the new GameCube Nintendo Classics app on Switch 2! Seeing as SoulCalibur 2 made it onto the app, I would love to be able to play the older titles via said app as on both Switch 1 and 2, we only have the MySims Cozy Bundle right now. :)
The Sims Medieval Not Working
Hello all, I’ve come on here to express my complete frustration with the company EA and the way they handle older games. I have been sitting at my computer for the past five hours trying to get the Sims Medieval to play. Any time I launch it, the error code 0xc000007b appears. I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried alder patch, I have tried downloading the other DirectX files, I have tried using Process Lasso, running the game as an administrator, the TSM.ps1 code, repairing the game, deleting cache, etc. This game will not work. I tried to reach out to the EA help, but after trying to do everything they recommended and the game still not working, they told me to take my computer to a local technician to try to get it to work. I’m sorry, but after spending money for a game, I feel that it is absurd to ask the customer to go spend even more money to see if maybe, possibly, someone else could fix it. At this point, I am out of options and feel completely defeated. I tried to see if I could get a refund, but while trying to upload files to somehow prove to them that the game does not work, they said I took too long to respond and closed me out of the chat. I have been playing the sims franchise for 10+ years at this point, and really love the Sims 3 and 2. But this makes me want to stop playing for good. For too long now, EA has taken advantage of players and refuses to fix older games like Sims Medieval. I wish there was a way to talk to someone higher up, but all they leave us with is the EA chat, which has not been helpful. My partner plays games like Call of Duty, and even their games from the 2000s still work. If older games from other companies still work, then there is no reason why an EA game from 2001 does not. Does anyone know any way to get this game to work? If not, I will continue trying to get a refund, even though I’m sure that will end up pointless as well. Thank you.

if you have ideas and you can't come up with something they can answer the question? even The Sims pack ideas you have in mind? i know i have lots of edits to do here and there (even the ones that's no longer on my own posts) it can answer the world name, aspirations (and which category it counts) personality traits, the country (or countries) idea it can be based on (it's just to name a few) i just discovered this since recently since someone on the comment mentioned something about using ChatGPT for some ideas and i was like "oh why not?" but you can use ChatGPT if you run out of ideas with certain name you have in mind just to keep it in mind of courseWho else needs this??
I do not have any affiliation with the sims or any game mentioned. Because of all the hype around D&D lately (such as the tv show and boulders gate -not affiliated) I know, now is the best time to consider this idea! I distinctly remember as a kid playing the sims medieval, and it was my absolute favorite! I believe it would be very popular to blend medieval with bustin' out for a sort of remastered/refreshed version of the game. A story line of starting out as a peasant, moving on to knight, noble, court advisor and finally royalty! Your actions would determine you to be either good or evil royalty. Once you reach throne, your "career" would then be making choices that would either keep your people well fed and happy, send them off to war, or maybe even a revolution against your throne... Perhaps dealing with a mystery within your court? like an evil or good sim, (depending on your choices), trying to sabotage you and take your throne... I bought the sims medieval around 2013 and I' trying to launch it on the EA app but it doesn't work. When I put the code on it says I should redeem it but when I try it says the code is invalid. The game is installed on the app but when I open it I have a window saying that the installation is not completed.Sims Medieval Installation Verification Failure
Redeemed a code for this game, installed it, got through the intro cutscenes (Patrick Stewart, wonderful as always,) but once I get to the main menu, a popup saying that the installation is incomplete blocks me from going any further. Clicking the check returns me to the desktop. I've tried repairing and reinstalling the game, but neither works. (Pardon potato quality, it didn't like me trying to screenshot it.)
