Yes I have origin running but origin is online
Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
Could you also please run the Origin reset tool and see if that helps - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
I tried the origin reset tool and it did nothing. I have a version. 10.14.3, MacBook Air (13-inch, early 2015) 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 is the processor. I have 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 for my memory. I have Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB. I play the normal version of the game. I am not running an antivirus anymore. I have tried repair game but it hasn't done anything. I used to use CC and Mods but I deleted them ages ago.

Update your OS to 10.14.6 and see if that helps. You can do so through System Preferences. My computer won't let me update to Catalina

You don't need to update to Catalina, just update Mojave to the last updated version which is 10.14.6. It says Origin is online.
How do I upgrade that?
- @SimmerAbby03
You can upgrade through System Preferences, as mentioned in my previous post, or through the Mac App Store.
If you need help with how to use your Mac, Apple's site has a wealth of informative pages like this one - https://www.apple.com/uk/macos/how-to-upgrade/
