The method @xen094 fixes most of the time this issue.

Hey, @doracahl
If you close down Origin and right-click on the desktop shortcut icon to run as administrator does that fix it? That could be anti-virus related, make sure Origin and Apex are added to the exceptions list for your anti-virus.

I just did the previous suggestion, but it made me download the game all over. It plays now, so tat's fine for me
