Sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having trying to load into Apex Legends. You don't have to call in to try this step below, let's see if this works first.

Visit Help.EA.com and make sure you're signed out. Click login at the top so it prompts you to sign in. Click the Xbox/Microsoft button to login so you use your Microsoft account information to log into our site.

Once you login that way, it should prompt you to create an EA account which will link your Gamertag to that one. If it doesn't prompt you to create an account, that means you've already synced your Xbox Gamertag to one a while back somehow. Click on Accounts>Change Email address at the top to verify the email address that's already linked up. (You can change it there if you need to as well)

Once you've signed into our site and completed the account creation process, restart your Xbox and try loading into Apex Legends again.

Just to avoid any confusion though, when you load up Apex Legends it's not going to ask you to sign in every time. You'll be prompted to sign into the servers to connect to them, that's all. If it's getting stuck at that point, try these steps below to help repair any connectivity issues you might be facing.

    I've tried this. It comes up with an error (attached screenshots). Ive deleted ALL cookies so it's not that. Ive tried to talk to someone about it but they were not helpful at all and has to be the worst customer support provider I have ever spoken to. They've taken me in circles and given me no helpful advice to get me up and running

    We do have live-chat 24/7 if you would prefer not to call in.

    - Did you login to Help.EA.com by clicking on the Xbox/Microsoft button when prompted to sign in? 

    - Are you able to play Apex Legends under and different Gamertag? 

    - Do you have Xbox Live Gold?

    Yes. No. Yes.

    Do you have a link to the live chat? I give up with My case on the help site. They keep giving me the standard copy and paste message and I'm fed up. Ive put a lot of effort and time trying to get myself up and running and they can't even be bothered to personalise it so I don't feel I'm talking to a useless robot

    When you fill out a case there will be an option to select Live-Chat. Have you tried these steps below before launching the game? They fix a lot standard game issues.

    Power Cycle the Console

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    Clear Mac Address

    1. Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    No I haven't. I can give it a go but I've pretty much lost hope and I won't be playing any EA games again. I got through to live chat who just told me to try the route i did the first time with no success. My situation is a difficult one and the support team have expressed nothing helpful, not even a hunan response (and i say that due to the 3 repeat standard messages) so my EA account is just stuck. I can't access it, can't delete it and can't create a new one so I can't play anything online so there's no point buying any more.

    Ok what do i do when i go to log in to ea with the xbox log in. And it says my xbox account is invalid.

  • same with me.  When I try to log in via my xbox login it says my xbox account is ineligible

    I've tried to sign in with my Xbox account, only for it to say that the account is invalid. Exactly the same as when I try to log into Apex legends.

    EA this is rediculous the least you guys could do is give us a reason why this is happening or a warning. I am not about to lose all of my money and progress on Aplex Legends because of a dumb error. You guys need to get your stuff straight soon. Your support doesn't help one bit all I get is the same advice that never works and I've changed my password more than 15 times this is ridiculous. All of these people including me are asking for help and thanks to you and your nonhelpful support we haven't been getting any help or any solution that will help us with this error. Please help us NOW!

  • None of the things you said to do worked. I am tired of trying and i am not going to just switch to another account and loss all my progress fix this now or I am never buying another EA game again.

  • This does not help at all. When you do this, it just says account ineligible. Your servers mixed everything up. This is an ea mistake big time and is really on the side of poor security. Now I have secret e mails that my apex is supposedly registered under. Lol ridiculous dude. I asked if my account was hacked and they said no way lol so how the heck do u explain my account I’m using for x box to play apex just several days ago just all of a sudden stops working and says invalid account. You guys have been hacked and now our data is exposed or the company it self did it for whatever reason which is still conflicting with privacy laws. Talking to a friend who is a lawyer. Will take a lot but dude someone has to start the fire under ea and their irresponsibility. We pay for products and you guys collect our data. Do your end of the bargain and make your product work. It’s definitely you guys. If it’s not in some freaken crazy stunt I will seriously pay u 5k. That’s how confident I am in your company’s faulter.

    Same here. Works on another login but not the one i want to use.works on pc but not xbox.

    So I have the same issue but when I followed the direction to sign in through my microsoft account, but when I enter in my email linked with my account it says it’s invalid. Why does this happen  for a account that I have been using with apex legends for a year? This is an account I’ve purchased skins on and played on for a while and out of no where it says it’s invalid. I’ve made no changes to my ea account, my origin account, or my Xbox account so it’s lovely that this can just happen randomly with no outside action. These are the photos of what happens in my console and when I try to log on and also when I tried to log on your site with my ALREADY linked Microsoft/EA account.

    It gives me an error saying your account is ineligible what’s that mean?
