I don't know what is the cause of this 100% CPU issue is but this is what I found today: I never had this issue before updating my Nvidia Geforce driver to version 496.13. Since then I have the CPU problem... I solved it only as a turn around by doing a regressive install to version 472.12 that I still had on my HDD. My CPU is an old i7 3770 with a RTX 1080Ti on W10.
Hope this help - Shoo7EmUp4 years agoNew Rookie@WuzFun After some readings I tried the clean boot restart today and it worked! I am now back to the previous situation with no more 100% CPU at all time. I am suspecting some sort of conflict with the Logitech mouse software, not sure... that's weird
I tried Apex again today for the first time in about a month, and after a bit of a spike up to about 93% on startup, it dropped to around 30, on the menu I had no stuttering. When the message window appeared, it spiked up, then dropped again. I went into the firing range, no real jump. Certainly no sustained jump. I haven't tried a full match yet, but hopefully no issues there. In the firing range CPU usage dropped to like, 5%.
Only thing I did recently was update Nvidia drivers for the 2042 beta, so I guess it fixed it? 🤨
Then again we have a new Apex update coming so it'll probably bust it again ><- OFIS-Xyed4 years agoRising Vanguard@Moab23 on apex trello blog respawn showing it as its fixed with last patch , for me its working better now.
