I'm sorry its a bit blurry, but the table right now is outside. But was also before in other houses inside.

You need to put the crystal ball on top of it, without it the sceance table doesn't work. Go into Build/Buy, set the pack filter on Paranormal and search for the ball. - @GiardiniDiMarzo Ah, I tried it, but it still doesn't work. Lot is haunted, Crystal Ball is on the table, but it still stutters for a millisecond and doesn't queue anything up. Is there something else I might be missing?

Did you already try ro reset the object or the sim? I don't know what else to suggest you. Maybe a Champion or a Hero can help you more. - @GiardiniDiMarzo Yes, nothing seems to work.. Thank you for your help regardless!

Still 0, can't even acquire the skill.
The options are "Sense Spiritual Volatility", "Commune With The Departed" and "Perform Ceremony" - @jpkarlsen Never queued up anything else, I didn't cheat for the license and I do not have it. I tried all the options before and reset the sim afer each option.
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save. See if a sim can use the seance table. Consider getting the complete seance set instead of the individual items Not that it should make a difference I just find it easier to do that.

As already metioned in my orginal post, I moved all my mods out of the folder, deleted localthumbcache and also already repaired my game. Nothing seems to work.
I used the pre-made room, I used a pre-made house and it still doesn't work... It seems like the animation just breaks and then it doesn't queue up. - @jpkarlsen
I also now made a new Documents folder (renamed the old one and let the game create a new one), and it still breaks. The animation makes a short move and then my sims goes back to normal @Cainmy Did you move your saves folder back into the newly created The Sims 4 folder, or just the individual saves. Some mods put settings files in your saves folder, you need to make sure those are also removed when you remove your mods.
Also, as an aside, I've never needed crystal ball to use the séance table, I always thought it was just for show. I rarely use one (the sim below doesn't have a crystal ball on the séance table).

I made a new save with the "fresh" game and it still would not work at all. With or without the crystal ball. That's what I don't understand.
