  • It's almost heartbreaking how much you've ruined this game.

Movement completely killed it, because if someone mains a defensive character for several years, you've forced them to either change their legend or delete the game.

Sparrow, Ash, Horizon, Valk... Who else? What else will you add to the game to drive defensive characters deeper into the ground?

Oh my God! What have you done to this game! This is hell! Horizon, Valk, Sparrow, Ash, and Wraith are running everywhere.

Not only can I, as Caustic, escape them, but I can't even catch up. Plus, they all jump like monkeys in this game and are impossible to hit in mid-air. And no, it's not that Caustic, Gibraltar, or Newcastle are bad. They're good and don't need buffs. It's just that the amount of movement you've added and how many legends use it in every game has completely destroyed the point of defensive champions.

Hahahaha! You've completely ruined the point of my game :D If it were possible, I would demand a refund of all my money and delete my account. What else will you do to further disrupt the overall balance of this game? Oh my god, this has to be some kind of joke. I can't believe what I'm seeing this season.

    Last season - 13.5k kills, K/D 2.55 (solo q, MnK), winrate ~15%.

    This season - K/D 1.0, winrate ~3%.

Congratulations. Have fun! xD Please, play your own game sometimes and don't hurt her anymore, because you've been doing it for many seasons. And EA, shame on you for allowing this game to be ruined for so long. Shame on you!

  • I'll leave that without comment.

As I expected, Horizon and Valk are everywhere. Movement is increasingly speeding up the game, leaving characters without it behind. Another season where a few characters destroy all the others. And so we play this every season. In season 28, we'll traditionally see Horizon and Valk nerfed and the other 2 or 3 legends massively buffed. It's really getting boring. As if it were that difficult to balance ALL characters every season, nerfing those who are too strong and slightly buffing those who are too weak. Right? Well, skins for Horizon, Valk or Rampart have to sell, right? :)

Well, the start of the season has been terrible for me, and I'm forced to play a character with movement, which I don't think is the point.

Well, playing ranked right now feels like I'm Rookie 4. I can't do anything. The sound is absolutely not better, but I've seen threads on Reddit where people agree. It's time to take a break from Apex. Let others with "better gaming chairs" play.

    EDIT:

And I have a suggestion for the developers. Go play MnK in "Joker" mode now with one of the giants – Caustic/Gibraltar/Newcastle in solo q. Of course, the EU server. You completely ruined your game. What you've done to balance has completely destroyed all legends without movement. Congratulations.

    I wish you luck.

  • Yes, Wildcard seems as if it was designed with tantrum-throwing children in mind. But that's okay. As long as none of that b.s. shows up in trios two seasons from now. (Spoiler alert: it will.)

The forced drop zones in ranked are, imo, a huge mistake, as you say. You hate it because you can't drop hot. I hate it because I can't drop cold. I also hate it because I used to be able to predict with insane accuracy exactly where people would drop, and how and when they would move to the next circle. Now it's like playing bracketed matches with lobotomized enemies. Lose and go home, win and proceed to the next POI for your next engagement. Sanitized, watered-down, cheese **bleep**, boring. Can I say "cheese **bleep**?" Well I did so sorry if no.

But as far as placement vs. kills? Who cares? The point isn't what they choose to reward. The point is to know which it is and play accordingly. And I'm tired of people whining because they don't want to do anything other than whatever the hell they want whevever the hell they feel like it. And expecting a cookie. Learn the rules and play them. Or don't. But if a player can't adapt to change then... sorry? Whatever.

On the subject of matchmaking, I'm glad to hear that you're doing okay in unranked. I'm finding it to be a roller coaster. One day it's fast and tight. The next day it's fast and bronze-to-master. My confidence in the developer is low, and when you add in the army of players who make it their mission in life to cheat the matchmaking algorithm... then you pretty much just get full skill-range matchmaking. That's what I'm seeing. Most of the time. And it's worse in Wildcard. It also seemed pretty bad in ranked, though I haven't played enough of it this season to know if that was an anomaly or a pattern. I mean, I KNOW it was a pattern, but I'll pretend to give them the benefit of the doubt. For now.

Anyhow, good feedback. Hope somebody up there reads it.
