I also think that what's too strong should be nerfed.
Instead, they prefer to buff another 2-3 legends to match their OP, and each season we get more and more upgrades and more and more fast movement.
Legends that don't have it at all have been completely wiped out.
All I see everywhere are Skirmisher and Assault + Lifeline/Conduit/Valk.
Nothing else in the game matters.
Axle players brag about their high K/D and winrate.
Legends with movement in this game are rewarded every season. This game has focused solely on them for over a year.
And what does a controller or legend with no movement skills do in open spaces? They die in a second.
What's the counter to Axle? None.
What's the counter to, say, Caustic? Bangalore Smoke, Grenades, Hemlock. This is just an example of how idiotic this game is.
Sometimes you have 3 or more counters against one legend, and sometimes you have none.
My biggest regret is starting Apex playing Caustic. Now, because everyone's playing a legend with incredible mobility, I feel like piece of **bleep**. It's a shame I'm too sentimental about one legend.
I've been waiting all season for them to nerf that **bleep** Axle and do nothing with her... It's just sick.
When playing Axle the game seems so easy... Choose a legend with no movement skills and you will see how ridiculously difficult the game becomes. It's bad enough that this **bleep** kills almost everyone in the lobby, but it also heals 50HP every time when she knocks someone down. Insane devs. Insane.
No one (professionals) complains about skirmishes because they're great to watch on Twitch and sell. But the truth is, it's this group of legends (most notably Axle) that's destroying the game's balance when it comes to legends and their selection.
Over time, I realized what people meant when they said Apex Legends was great to watch but terrible to play.
