Abnormal network data traffic causing huge lags (2,0+ Mbps)

I am having an issue for 2 months now on PC. The interesting part of this problem is that I have lags only for some matches. I play 4-5 matches without any problem, then I have a match where it is lagging. But its not like random laggs, NO, it is from the beginning till the end of that match!

Couple of days ago I have realized that for these laggy matches my network data traffic for Apex Legends is abnormal, 1,5-2MB or even more sometimes. Its like I am getting DDOSed or something (its only for me, other people are not lagging in that match). Matches where I dont lag have around max 550 kb/s data traffic.

I have fast optic internet connection (600/60Mbps), no problems with other games at all. Playing EU servers (Frankfurt 1,2 and Belgium 1,2,3).

Its so annoying, anyone having the same issue?

(on the picture it is only Apex Legends, nothing else doing any data traffic)

    Hi @Daffi-RetiredAsF

    Do you mind if we try running through some connectivity troubleshooting to see if we can help with this? I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps when you've got the chance to see if that helps.

    If you're still having trouble after that check out the PC-specific steps as well. Let me know if you're still seeing the same lag issues afterward. Thanks!

    Hey @Daffi-RetiredAsF,

    Thanks for following up and letting me know! I'm glad to hear it's no longer happening. 👍

  • hmmm... I am back guys...

    With the Fight Night Collection Event update the same problem is happening again for me, very anoying!

    I had no laggs at all since the whole season, all problems came back again with the new update!

    Same as in my original post.

    And I am sorry but this time I am not even willing to do any "connectivity troubleshootings", problem is on your side or with the application itself, thats for sure!

    @Daffi-RetiredAsF

    We have been looking into some latency issues since the Fight Night update. I'm afraid I don't have a time frame on when it may be resolved, but hopefully it will be sorted out soon. Thanks for bearing with us while it's under investigation.
