My ea account won’t let me link my account to my Xbox account because I apparently already did it I was super mad because I don’t remember linking a account I checked to see if it was still linked and it wasn’t is there any way I can get it so I can link it to my new Xbox account?
To confirm EA accounts can only have one platform type linked in it's life (one Xbox, One PSN, etc). Once you link your platform we are unable to change this.
For information on linking a new account or unlinking an older account from EA, check out our help articles below. Please be aware there are permanent changes that occur when you link or unlink an account, which is further described in the links below.
Trylogging into your EA Account to see if your platform account is already linked. If unsure, use the email you use for your platform. You can’t link an EA Account to two PlayStation™Network IDs, for example. Instead, you’ll need tocreate a new EA Accountto link an additional platform account.
If you made a second EA Account with your primary email address, follow these stepsto update the email on your preferred account.
If you have multiple EA Accounts with games on them, our advisors may be able to help combine your accounts. You’ll need to be able to access both accounts, and not everything will transfer over, like game progress.
Unlink your platform accountfrom your EA Account and link it to a different EA Account, as long as the new account has never had the same account type linked to it before in its lifetime. That means if you unlink an Xbox gamertag from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Xbox gamertag to it in the future.
Hi @Lazychase, Are you able to share a screenshot of the exact error message you get?
