@ButtertasticI thinks this means that any second account was made after 26th will not be eligible to be "merged",
They said "merged", they didn't say "any second account was made after 26th will not be eligible to cross their progression from platform to other"
I will try to simplify it, for exemple, as you said, you have made an Apex account "A" 1 year ago or let's say when there was no cross progression, that account was used to play on PC.
Then you have made an account "B" on Xbox after 26th (with the same EA email that used on PC),
In this case any progression that you made with account "B" (because that account was made after October 26th) won't be merged with account "A",
However, your progression that made with account "A" will still be able to carryover to your Xbox account (account "B").
Okay - so then it's just a matter of waiting for the account to be part of the staggered implementations of cross progression/data migration basically. Thanks @scof23 , that actually makes sense since new accounts would be able to farm apex packs after the announcement thus exploiting the data merge.
Does anyone know if they've given any hints as to a schedule for the "doing this in waves"? Just out of curiosity really since it'll realistically happen when it happens. More in case the process is complete and my account is still lvl 1 haha.
- 2 years ago@Buttertastic hey bro I have the same issue after a month of cross proggresion they didn't give me my cosmetics and badges from xbox to pc and I'm just asking if they managed to merge your accounts.
