Anyone on Win7 that can confirm that their Apex still works? No longer works?

Windows 7 for me as well, game ran fine before this patch though.

I'm launching the game from the EA app and after the rectangle appears with Balistic's pic, I get a pop up error box saying -

 error: there is a problem with your game's setup. please reinstall your game.

I have reinstalled it a few times, repaired it, erased the 43.dl file and reinstalled direct x and the different C++ files

Step 1) Update Windows Step

Step 4) Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...

Step 5) Install Visual C++ files from Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/h...

Step 6) Repair the game files in Origin

I have tried these steps's to no avail, via a youtube vid.

Reinstalling the game again right now

I have also tried launching via steam and I got the error you guy's did on this thread.
