Yesterday I couldn't launch Apex Legends because the game says I don't have an EA account linked. It's already linked to my Steam account. I tried unlinking and relinking them, which worked, but Apex Legends still doesn't recognize that the accounts are linked.

Sorry to hear you’re running into this.
If Apex is still not recognizing the link after you’ve already unlinked and relinked the accounts, the next thing I’d suggest is double-checking that Steam is now connected to the correct EA Account and giving the link a bit of time to refresh fully across the account side. It may also help to sign out fully from both Steam and your EA Account, then sign back in and try again.
