no, it's not. it completely freezes my system.
just telling that after PC restart it starts to load shaders all over again, and it also causing complete system freeze time to time (even without entering the match).
my apex is no longer freeze right now. the only thing i change right now is turn off the wifi on my pc. only ethernet works now
and i monitor the gpu usage on my task manager as well. it stays around 85% and it's pretty normal. it used to be around 90-99
if u use wallpaper engine u can try to add rules when opening apex to stop dynamic wallpaper from running.
i still thinks that's their update's fault but i can't figure out what cause it. hopefully my solution can help u. have a great day! :)

Hello! So glad you managed to fix this problem! Sadly, it won't help me as even though I have Ethernet connection, with WIFi turned off nothing loads, be it other online games or just browser. It's truly mindblowing (and not in the good way) that EAC now blocks WiFi or something like that and freezes the whole PC if it's turned on. It's devastating to lose almost 6 years of progress to the bug that was never supposed to exist in the first place, as I've donated to Apex quite a lot, but nothing can be done as EA don't want to deal with it or at least acknowledge the problem (I mean, cmon, they haven't even tried to do anything to help us after asking to run Dx diagnostics and post its results here - just silence)
