I installed apex on the EA launcher in hopes it would work but it did not. The only time the game has been able to run for a long period of time without crashing my pc was when I had only the game itself running. Usually i play with discord and OperaGX open on my second monitor so Im going to test if it's one of those that's causing the issue. Unfortunately I'm going to have to play a ranked game to replicate the issue. Can't wait to lose more RP from this dumb issue :)
Few days ago I tried running the game again without any other programs, like Chrome, Steam, BattleNet, etc., I even unplugged my headphones! I was hoping that, maybe, one of those things was actually the culprit behind the freezing my PC, but to no avail — the game crashed after 7 or so minutes :/
I update my cpu drivers, my ssd firmware, re installed the game on the steam launcher, played without discord or any browsers open and I have gotten through 3 matches so far. Im gonna play some more and see how it goes but hopefully something i did fixed it.
