Apex Legends Cross progression playstation

I have a bit of a unique problem I created for myself. I have 2 separate PSN accounts but want to know if I can unlink one of my PSN accounts and link my other to transfer my Apex Legends progress. I created a secondary PSN account when I got into multi-player games because I didn't like my username, back before PSN allowed you to change your username. I don't wanna keep having to switch accounts to play Apex now that it's no longer an issue but don't wanna unlink my PSN and attach my primary account unless I know I won't lose my progress. Will unlinking my secondary PSN account that has all my skins and progress and linking my primary erase all my progress since all of that progress was made on my secondary account? I linked my switch account recently so I'm not sure if that helps or not.
