Sometime about a month ago, my Apex account was hacked. It wouldn't let me login because the email didn't match or something. I was really confused so I contacted EA to have it fixed. I got access to my account back so I had to relink my email since the hacker linked their own to my account. Problem was, I didn't realize that once I opened my game again that would mean all of my progress was gone, skins, cosmetics, milestones, badges, etc. Everything I worked on everyday for 6 months straight was gone. The last thing I remember buying beforehand was the Youngblood skin for Bloodhound and the gun skins from the Weapons of War bundle.
I contacted EA several times about this situation. They've either never gotten back to me, have been dismissive, and I've even been lied to. Here is a post I made on Twitter with screenshots of one of my EA Help interactions: https://twitter.com/nbgamer_bo/status/1426615350209220613
Today, I talked to another EA Help person and they keep telling me they can't reimburse me or they can't get me my stuff back. I think it's incredibly stupid that there's not a backup of data that has everything I lost on it. If there is and they're purposefully not giving it back, then I can see they're siding with hacking and like to punish their players.
