Thanks for posting a tutorial video @AspireBolt .
Before posting below, check to make sure your sound card (internal or external) has the latest driver for it installed.
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/finding-devices-and-updating-drivers/
Right-click on the game in Origin and select "Repair."
As others have mentioned, try switching around the sound type in your sound settings (Stereo, 7.1, 5.1 to see which audio setting gives you the best results)
We're seeing some of those steps work for others so hopefully it does for you.
We'll want to gather some more information around this so we can have the team investigate. Please only reply back with the following information:
Headset : Sennheiser HD 598SE (Audio Port)
Sound Device: Behringer UMC204HD (external sound card) & onboard sound card (both produce the same bug)
Platform: PC
Description of the issue:
the issue experienced is that seemingly with no specific pattern audio will periodically stop being heard, (gunshots, footsteps, sliding noise, looting, character voices) but background noises such as wind and hit confirmed sounds will work. This seems to happen more often during fire fights or when a lot of sounds are being produced all at once. when the sound is restored, all missed sound effects will be heard all at once.
Hope this helps! keep up the good work!
i have similar setup stated above, but the umc404hd sound card which function the same.
Hello guys
I had the same issue and my settings on audio panel was set at stereo so i thought that i am doomed as it was not going to fix the problem for me, all thought i changed it to 5.1 surround clicked ok on the next tab and then changed it back to stereo again and now it works perfectly! Hope its helps! Never give it up 😂
Posting here to also say I have the same setup with the UMC204HD and it's causing intermittent audio output from Game -> UMC204HD -> Headphone Output.
Speakers are set to UMC204HD
When i go to 'Sounds' -> Configure -> the only audio channels present are Quadraphonic.
Posting to update for those who use Behringer's audio interface that I fixed the issue. You need to uninstall Windows' 10 UMC drivers (the ones that install immediately when plugged in) and install Behringer's official driviers to enable Stereo output on your interface.
Just want to say this did not fix it for me.
