Try navigating to your game file location and right click the r5apex.exe file.
Then open properties and click the compatability tab.
Tick the disable fullscreen optimisations and then apply.
There is a current issue with Apex which the gamma settings in windows is reset when using fullscreen mode.

It's a bug! Workarounds are not acceptable.
BTW turning on borderless window makes the picture overbrightened comparing to usual fullscreen.

I downloaded the game last saturday played it the weekend no issues at all but now on monday the game crashes goes to a black screen but i can hear the sound still. i looked online for solutions because at first i thought it was my gpu ( since i just build this pc) but it works fine with other games. i have tried running it as adminstrator, repairing, updating, windowed mode, nothing worked it still crashes either in game or right after. some games it doesnt because they end quickly. i hope you guys have some other fixes for this problem.
