Can’t Join a Game/Orientation Match after Cross Progression Merge

I've been in contact through EA help for the last couple weeks, and one of the many people I've spoken to has suggested to unlink my PSN account, which I linked SPECIFICALLY for cross progression. But because of the dumb design which doesnt allow you to unlink an account after 6 months, I guess im gonna have to wait that time just for a solution that might not even work. It's ridiculous that I now wont be able to play the game for 6 months becuase of an error on their side.
