r5apex.exe - Application Error. Crashing constantly. "The instruction at (...)"

I'm getting this crash constantly. I've probably gotten it about 20 times since the game released, and it is infuriating. It can occur randomly at any point in the game.

Below are screenshots of some of these crashes. I've also attached DxDiag info.

Some possibly relevant info:

- Crashes regardless of whether or not I'm running Nvidia shadowplay.

- Crashes regardless of whether or not I'm running dual monitor setup.

- I've been using RivaTuner Statistics Server to limit my FPS to 60. I'll try playing now without RTSS running to see if that makes a difference.

Another thing you could try as it has worked for me so far. Is turning off "Control Flow Guard" in windows security. Go to: Windows Security --&gt; App &amp; Browser Control --&gt; Exploit Protection --&gt; Control Flow Guard(under System Settings) --&gt; Set CFG to "default off". DirectX12 might be the issue and this seems to be the remedy. You could couple this with a "-dx11" in the launch options(forces game to run on DirectX11. The other big one is overlays for Discord, Steam, Xbox App etc... These can cause issues as well. So disable your overlays just to be safe.
