Cannot Login through EA-Steam

I just updated the application on PC and when trying to boot the game asked me to reset my EA password so I did... twice after the second time of trying to login it just keeps saying it over and over...

    Hello @runjob6t9 

    It looks like you might be trying to reset the password on the wrong EA account that is not linked to your Steam. You can check "Connections" tab in "My Account" settings, if you do not see Steam link in there, it means that your Steam is linked to a different EA account. To activate the account, you will have to try and remember the email address of the EA account that is linked to your Steam and reset password on it. Please keep in mind that EA account and Steam account can have different login credentials. hello,

when i try to log in via steam it redirects me to the steam page ("is that you?") and when i click sign in and allow it asks me to confirm my identity by sending an email,

but everytime it answers that here is a problem,
