CSOM_MilesAsync_OpenOrfindFile("audio\ship\general_english.mstr")

I am in the same boat. Installed the game no issues. But when I try to play i get errors each time:

"unknown file version audio\ship\general_english.mstr"

"unknown file version paks\win64\pc_all.starpak"

"unknown file version paks\win64\pc_all.opt.starpak" 

I have tried deleting these files and repairing the game, updating the game, I have even done a fresh install this morning on a different hard drive and still the same thing happens. This is just stupid as I have no issues running any other game! 

Guess I wont be playing this one with my friends after all.

My game is in English, All the setting are English, Have repaired the game, Have redownloaded a fresh install.........

Still wont run. ☹️

Sorry for my english.

Only need to do clikc on the game and press udate, after that the game it's open.

It is fixed by downloading the game from the origin library.

When this is done, go again to the origin library and click on play now.

It will now download an update of 700mb.

Once this is done the game works 🙂

Ok so after many attempts here how I have got the game to work.

Deleted all the files that were causing an issue, updated the game. got into the setting of the game and disabled all of the subtitles and such.

Now the game seems to run,
