My country is Japan. I had the same symptom. Previously I set it to (+ miles_language english) in the command line argument of the game properties. When I updated in this state, "CSOM_MilesAsync_OpenOrfindFile ...." appeared. Set this to the setting when the language was set. In my case, it is Japan, so I write (+ miles_language japanese). Then the game started normally and I was able to play the game. I translated it on google, so it's not enough words .....Thanks it did work

I have a similar problem but my error is this MilesAsync “audio/ship/general_1.mstr” and I have been in a live chat with people at EA and they said I should contact EA HQ which I have so I would suggest if you don't know report a bug to EA HQ
