DDoS and packet loss

Since EA introduced DDoS protection in ranked matches Apex Legends has become unplayable for me. I'm experiencing consistent packet loss, high ping, and rubberbanding, which did not occur prior to this update.

I recently switched to Superloop (NBN FTTP) to fix the other issues I was having with the code LEAF, it was my 4th ISP chance and countless troubleshooting and it finally resolved when I used suoerloop.  The new problems began only after the DDoS protection update.

As part of troubleshooting, Superloop has

Provided a Static Public IP

Updated my DNS settings

I don't know what else to do. I can only use the US servers to play with my partner in London. I'm in Aus.
