Disconnect and unable to rejoin, losing to because of this.

Since the most recent update came out, I’ve been getting kicked out of my ranked games, and it’s not allowing me to rejoin and I’m left with an abandon penalty. I’ve lost 500 rp and I’ve tried restarting my game, restarting my console, and just trying to renter the game. I’m on Xbox series c and I have a wired connection, and my wifi hasn’t dropped or cut out either.

    Thank you for giving that a shot. 


    Can we also try setting a different DNS on your system to see if that helps? You can change the DNS on your Xbox using the steps below: 

    1. Open your Xbox Settings
    2. Go to General Settings
    3. Select Network settings
    4. Select Advanced settings
    5. Select DNS settings
    6. Choose Manual
    7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but I've also heard that using the Cloudflare DNS resolver can also help (primary DNS: 1.1.1.1). 
    8. Save the changes

    Let me know if you're still running into any disconnections after that. Thanks!

    What are the error messages you've been seeing when you're getting disconnected and when you're trying to rejoin?

    It just says error unable to rejoin last game, then I get the abandonment penalty.

    Could we try out some troubleshooting to see if we can help stop these disconnections from happening? 

    A good place to start out would be with the basic and advanced connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If you're still running into any disconnections after that please let me know. Thanks!

    I just got a another message saying out of sync this time. I have a wired connection with top notch Wi-Fi and a Xbox series x and apex ranked is completely unplayable. I’ve lost almost 1000 rp just trying to play.

    Same! This * is getting absolutely ridiculous! I disconnect from THEIR server and im penalized for it? Like if MY internet goes out yeah I get it.... but their * servers shouldn't affect my RP....
