EA has blocked me out of getting my account back.
Over the course of the last week or so I have attempted to get back an old account I had. This account was made in 2014, when I was eight. However had been linked to Xbox for all the years proceeding that. I've been talking to EA Advisors to recover this account, putting missing information together and failing every time because some pieces of information have been "incorrect". Anyway, Yesterday it finally felt like I was making some progress.
The Advisors have been nothing but supportive to me, the system that they use however keeps blocking me from recovering this account. Yesterday, after another failed attempt to recover the account, I tried to log into it through Xbox. As I have always been able to over the last few years. It's the only way I've actually been able to get any semblance of information about this old account. Yet yesterday when logging into xbox, somehow it had been unlinked from my old account. I did not do this!!! My guess is that one of the advisors did it for me or something. As literally the other day it was linked to the old one. Anyway after linking the xbox account to this current EA account I have access to, I had hope that my old data for Apex would port onto this new one. It did not. Because the data is held on that old EA account and not the Xbox account (which seemed to surprise some of the advisors when i told them...)
After discovering this I talked again with an advisor telling them I just want that old apex data from this old EA account, no longer linked to my xbox account for whatever reason, on this one. They told me "no problem! We've secured your data successfully!"... they did not do this. And I do not have that old data. So whatever that was? I have no clue.
Now, I am not giving up, they even said "There is no limit to the number of times you can request an account recovery". However, as of now, the website blocks my account from talking to any EA advisor. They tell me no matter what Issue I have, advisors do not tackle that type of request. So, EA disconnected my Xbox account from the old EA account, then told me they secured and transferred it when they didn't, and now I can't even talk to advisors about it. This old EA account, I have no access to. I have no access to the email. I don't know the password. And because they disconnected my xbox and put it on this current account, I can't even log into it that way.
Anyone able to help me here? Is there ANYTHING I can do? EA's silly system has blocked me out of getting all my old data I really want, spent money on.
