Does anybody know how to fix the Engine Error fille corruption or mismatch detected? Edit: I found the solution to the problem, the problem was that I had my Apex audio in Japanese, and it needed to be updated.

@iJudeau I found the fix to it. If you are using different audio languages ( for my part ) , I updated the audio files and everything worked out.

What I did was remove the audio files. Go to your game install directory apex>audio>ship and remove the audio files you previously downloaded which in my case were japanese (general_japanese_patch_1.mstr)(general_japanese.mstr) after removing the files go to origin and click on apex legends go to settings and click on game properties>advanced launch options and type in +miles_language english in the command line arguments and click on save I typed in english because this was my default audio language. I hope this helps you guys out 🙂

I start the game through Steam normally, the game launches the EAC as usual and it starts the game. After the initial logos of EA and Respawn Entertainment, the game crashes and gives me an error message saying "(24.869) File corruption or mismatch detected. Please repair or re-install the game." I don't understand why this is happening. I tried verifying the game files and re-installing the game but nothing worked, I even restarted my PC and nothing. Please help me, I love Apex and now I can't play it for no reason!

@renerplaz21 Thank you! It worked. I'm guessing that whoever had different voice audio files in the directory would get the error. I had my voices in japanese.

@iJudeau I tried deleting the japanese voice files from the local files area and tried to re-open the game but it didn't work, how do I reset it completely? Btw I'm on Steam, help pls!
