My sons origins DOB makes him over 18 yet I still can't get on?
I still keep thinking it's to do with that he's under my family on xbox.
Ive changed all the restrictions on my xbox so he can play this game but still no answer.
We had this problem with Star Wars Battlefront 2.....in the end just traded the game in.
Hi was this a child Account? I tried that with mine but it still gives the error.
- I had to verify my EA account and after I did that my game connected to the servers. Couldnt make it past the main screen prior to this.
Verify your EA account! I had the same issue and once I did this I could connect to the servers.

My sons xbox account gets the error 104. I've changed his DOB on xbox to make him 37!! and still hasn't worked.
When I first set up his xbox account I put his actual DOB. I'm thinking EA must take the first date entered?
Becoming very frustrating.
The only at he can play it is to log in as me on his xbox and play that way!
- My account isn’t. A child but an adult and it still doesn’t work
I also have the same problem; Can play Apex Legends just fine on my own account (Adult, has the XBL subscription) but by teenage son can not play using his own account / gamertag (member of the family, has XBL subscription shared with me), presumably because it is still a child account and I can't 'promote' to an adult account until he is 18. It really bugs me that we have such inadequate controls as parents (that's on the MS side) but also that publishers do such a half-assed job of deferring to the parental controls implemented by MS. For Apex Legends the fact that he has a child account seems to override his age or any of the content ratings I specify for his account.. and I am in a position where the controls that are put in place to safeguard must be entirely circumvented with a new adult account for him (so I can lie about his DoB etc) instead of EA (and MS) sorting their s**t out.
It seems to be and issue for lots of people I have the same exact problem my son account has no restrictions he plays rainbow six siege battlefield etc i the past I had to on my adult acount allow him to play these games but for some reason I cant do it with this game. He has played under my gamertag and likes the game but is disappointed because he cant play on his account. So if the apex legend creators and ea really want to take down or even be in the running with Fortnite they should address this issue asap. In my opinion they are losing kids which are just going back to fortnite because u restrict them even if the parent sets there account up to play such games.
- It's not the DOB on his Microsoft/Xbox account. It's the date of birth on his EA account. When you created an EA account for him the DOB was set and can't be changed.
Agree definitely something is wrong. My son can play titanfall 2 rated M but can’t play apex rated T.
