My apex legend use to work at 165 fps and 80-90 percent gpu use and 30-40 percent use . now suddenly my fps dropped btwn 30-85 and gpu use to 100 and cpu use between 5-10 percent . i have tried ...

When you have a moment can we also try the following and check for any changes?
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Close other running applications on your device
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
@EA_Illium thanks for the reply. btw i am on steam not ea app.I tried every method you suggested but to no avail my fps is stuck btwn 30-80 rather than 165 which it used to be.
Have you tried running Apex with everything else closed? Can be other app that got an update and it's causing performance issues with Apex (had this happen with Medal recently)
Also recheck the video settings in Apex, sometimes those randomly change. Set them to something different and back to what you used to have
