Guys it seems like there is a fix. not 100% sure but most likely. I just played 10 games BR with premates without freeze. I was freezing every single game before.
Step 1:
go to apex video settings and disable "Spot Shadow Detail" completely. put it on disabled.
It is important to do this step first because step 2 will be reset if you do ANY changes to your video settings later.
close the game.
Step 2:
Press Windows+R
enter this: %userprofile%/Saved Games/Respawn/Apex/local/
go to the text file called "videoconfig"
search the Line "setting.csm_enabled" "1" (in the bottom half of the file)
make it "setting.csm_enabled" "0"
save the file.
Step 3:
Start the Game and give it a Try.
If you do ANY change to your video settings after step 2 it will set it to "setting.csm_enabled" "1" again.
it seems like it worked for me, i hope for others too. Pls try it and give feedback.
