Game suddenly freezes a few minutes after starting

I redownloaded apex on my laptop after a while and was playing with my friends. A few days later whenever I start my game it suddenly freezes, I can still hear the lobby music and stuff but nothing else works. For my friends I'll still be in their lobby or in their team but I'll be disconnected. I have tried playing with no other background apps on, rolling back to old gpu drivers, overclocking and underclocking my cpu but im still having the same issue
