Game was hacked and they spent my apex coins and support won't help
I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, I couldn't find a thread for stuff like this.
My account was hacked which EA support confirmed and you can see by looking at my club history as it says I played a game in "chinese characters". (I have now changed every password) and the hacker spent most of my apex coins and crafting materials.
I just want support to restore my coins and get rid of the items, but they said that wasn't possible, so then I asked if they could give me the coins and they said that also wasn't possible.
I'm not inclined to believe this for a few reasons, one being I know the support is outsourced (the links support gave me linked me to the india version of the website) and when they called me, they didn't even pronounce Apex right. I feel like if it was outsourced then they obviously wouldn't be able to restore the coins, but is there really no one who can?
Am I now just out of all of my coins and will have to spend money to unlock the battle pass?
I've had an incident in another game and the devs were able to restore my coins and remove the items the hacker bought, so I genuinely don't understand how Apex can't.
Has anyone had anything similar happen and is there anything I can do? Or am I just out of luck and money now.
