Hello,some days ago my game started to lag as hell. Thing is that my ms are good, my fps are good (usually capping them at 144), 0 packet loss (with every setting on low, v-sync off etc.), but the game is choppy and it feels slow even to move. I tried to reinstall nvidia drivers, even older versions, but nothing works. I literally tried every guide on the internet to reduce lag but nothing works. Tried to download the game on steam but nothing changed. Tried to change settings on control panel but nothing changed. I feel like it's not smooth and there's often micro-stuttering. I don't know what to do, I literally tried everything. I also re-installed windows like 3 times. My specs : CPU : i7 7700k, GPU : Geforce 1660 super, 16 gb RAM, 60 hz monitor.Hope someone can help me, thanks.

@Sick1Click Hey, thanks for reaching out. I already tried rtss, capping at 60 or 144. 60 fps feels not smooth either and it feels even 'slower' in movements, that's why i was capping at 144. The weird thing is that before this problem my game was running good at 144.

@7empePL @Sick1Click thanks for helping, I replied but apparently it disappeared. So: i tried every solution from @Sick1Click but I honestly can't see the difference, the issue is still there. I will definetely try 60 fps configuration later today, but it's still weird how the game was running perfecly some days ago at 144 fps (it's still running at 144 fps). I'm starting to think that it could be a connection issue. I played so much as i could these days, and I figured out that sometimes the game runs smooth (with some sort of microstutters) but sometimes it just lags. I can't figure out if it's 'graphic' lag (cause the stats are good) or a connection problem. The thing is, my connection is not bad (8 ms ping (in game 40-70), 55 mbps dwld and 20 mbps upload). I tried to disconnect every device connected but it doesn't change nothing. So yeah, i don't really know what to try anymore.

@AlexxRezz important thing (maybe?) I forgot to tell: everything in firing range works smooth, and I already tried the EA troubleshooting connection guide.

@AlexxRezz still having this problem...sometimes it's so laggy...it feels like end game is better but sometimes it's perfect. In winter express everything looks smooth as butter...

yeah same haha, it's just the servers are far away. you have to get like 5 ping, then it wont lag.. i got 13 and im lagging.

@Sick1Click Hey! Thanks fo helping, I tried it but it doesn't work. I have a little update tho: playing with fps capped at 120 fps feels really good, but i often have screen lags when fighting really hard or shooting from long distance, but it's way better than playing at 144 fps capped. I tried to cap at 60, running similar to 120, but with huuuuge input lag, unplayable. I'm guessing it's the monitor at this point, it's from 2011 I think, but unfortunately i have no way to test another one to see if it fixes my problem. Thanks again for helping tho 🙂

sounds good =) so one more idee: create your own resolution in the Nvidia control panel, the same one you already use but with 120 Hz. If you then limit to 117 FPS, you shouldn't have any more tearing 🙂 Monitors can make a huge difference! Take a look at Benq and Alienware .. Alienware has a good and very cheap IPS 25" with 240Hz

@Sick1Click holy...I just tried to create a new resolution and it's * amazing. I could create a new one maxed at 70hz, and sometimes it has some brightness issues but wow...the game is smooth af. I don't know how much i can play cause this problem makes my eyes suffer a bit. That's probably time to get a new monitor I guess...thank you soooo much!!

I tried everything with my 5700xt 3700x rig, nothing worked. I have 165hz 1440p monitor, it feels really not smooth at some point it makes you hate apex. need help
