As you mentioned linking your accounts, did you previously have your Xbox account linked to another EA account?
Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.
That is typically why we might see cosmetics appear to go missing like this, and re-linking the Xbox account to the prior EA account would be the way to try restoring that progress.
No, I only had one account and it was all on my Xbox, now my level, badges, and trackers all transferred. If there is a way you can look I have some progress back in season 3 but all my cosmetic items from back then are all gone. My progress is there but the cosmetics i got along with that progress is gone sadly.
