How to gain same movement speed as my team mates in flat surface

I have been playing Apex now for about 1600 hours but it starts to make me wonder how you can gain the movement speed similar to other players.

Usually even Browze level players can move faster than me and i am pressing my W key as hard as I can. It has been feeling a bit unfair to fight and trying to survive solo queing  but i managed to get to Plat IV (starting from few seasons ago its quite trivial to solo que to Plat IV) but in Plat IV it gets so hard as people are sniping far away and I am not able to run as fast as my team mates and I always get to stay behind them and get practically no loot.

Here is the gameplay what is looks like for me

What could I do to gain same running speed than even my team mates? There was a trick on youtube for gibby to run few times from edge to edge of Kings canoyn, but I do not play gibby.

Best regards,

That speed is great, though speed alone doesn't mean the connection is stable as well, which is more where problems generally arise when gaming.

That said, if you've already gone through all those troubleshooting steps including changing your DNS without seeing any change, repeating them likely won't have much impact.

Which data center do you usually connect to in-game?

    Hey @Salo_MnK,

From the video you've linked, it seems that your client has some pretty consistent connection errors appearing during the match. That could definitely be contributing to the issue here, as it looks like you're seeing a pretty high amount of latency as well.

I would start by going through these troubleshooting steps, especially the ones regarding flushing and changing your DNS. I'd also check through these additional advanced steps after that if you're still running into the same situation.

The prediction errors vanished and gameplay got better after trying Amsterdam data center just after doing those network issue fixes(did flush dns, did check those firewall settings etc). Usually those two Frankfurt data servers have been working great, and Amsterdam has been bad. Now it seems to be that maybe Amsterdam is better.. Strange.

Thanks Mako, I was able to play very good game with no issues. Lets hope i have still time to get Diamond.. Usually there are so much issues during one season that it is not possible to get past plat IV.

@Salo_MnK Thanks for letting me know which datacenters you're seeing this on!

Glad to hear you were able to get some good matches in after switching, best of luck finishing out the season!

    Hi,

I played today ranked royale, starting RP was Plat III 5500 or so and during the few hour session RP's got straight down to 4800rp with mostly -36 and first enemy just killed our whole team instantly. I think once our random team got +5rp. I was playing with the same random player 4 times during that session so I guess Apex legends is running our of players. He told me that he had gained a lot of RP during his gameplay (well, when he played with me we lost all 4 games -36).

I was not even close to killing an enemy, all 1-1's were no change, enemies were ~5x better etc. I tried my best and I believe our team did the best they could.

So after all I think those trouble solving tips did nothing after all, prediction error icon was showing every now and then. I though the ranked game mode was the fair game mode, but the game did not realize that after losing 20 times -36 in a row, the enemies are just way too hard. Same fairness is also in the ranked arenas... I may kill 10 opponents and the team mates does nothing but stand just to get +12.

    Just uninstalled Apex Legends.

    Best regards,
