I had the same problem, I set my screen to 120hz instead of 144 (it give me 120fps max). Gpu load was less massive but still it was not quite ok. But with the today patch I think it's ok because I have no longer 90-99% gpu load but 33-75% load (60% most of the time). So sometimes my 2080ti set to Idle while gaming x)

I've had the same issue for about a year now, and after reading this whole thread, only one solution came to mind, that really helped me.
It all started when I bought a 144hz monitor and set it up. After switching it to 100hz it used less GPU.- 6 years ago
Hi people!
I've went through EVERY single forum I could, reddit, EA, even on youtube, and tried EVERY single solution mentioned anywhere, and all I achieved was reducing CPU usage from 100% to around 70-80 which is really good, however my GPU is still 99-100% and I don't want it to run like this all the time. Have anyone found any solid solution to this? Turning off gaming mode in WIN did not help. Turning off/on V-sync did not help (it actually did the opposite, cuz thanks to that I got stuck at 30 FPS in WoW, which I fixed after a few minutes..).
I've seen people had those issue last year and I see people having them this year too, and noone has idea what is happening! For me, it started I dont't even know when. One time I just popped the game as always and noticed huge FPS drops in my first game, later on it was all good, but it made me think what's wrong, so I opened the task manager and noticed this double 100% usage. Immediatelly turned the game on and haven't played a few days.
I believe it may be something with WIN updates, but I am not sure cause I can't redo last patch (too old). Will appreciate any new ideas.
QUICK EDIT: GPU Usage SHOULD be at 100%, because that's how many Apex reserves and needs, if the CPU usage is 100% however, then you should worry about it. Same if the GPU usage is lower then 90%, means something could be wrong.
