Missing content | Account gone?

I have come back to Apex Legends after many years to find what I believe to be cross progression choosing a PC profile over my original Xbox profile during a forced merge. My Xbox profile Was level 500+, had heirlooms, tons of cosmetics, and achievements.  I double verified that it indeed is the right profile.  I have been simply told "There is nothing we can do it about it." So I should just simply accept this loss due to being inactive at the time?  I have screenshots of my account, records of every purchase / transaction that was made, and more data than that. Is there no way to get my old Xbox account back to the original state or get compensated? I have the transaction number every purchase if that helps.
