No Enemy Sound in Apex

Is there still no fix to this problem? Had it since release, where the enemy/shooting sound bugs out for 10-20 seconds and then comes back. This happens multiple times. There is nothing wrong with my rig. No problems with lag or fps-drop, and this problem has never occured in any other game. Im using a wireless usb headsett so i can't change the settings like some others did. 

I'm having this same issue but on xbox one. I have my headset plugged into my controller. Whenever I'm near enemies, their footsteps and gunshots cut out and the voice call-outs get really buggy and warped. Only way I know I'm being fired at is the red arrow indicator and my controller vibrating. Once the enemies are gone, the sound returns to normal after a few seconds.

Still have this issue.  I'm running bootcamp Windows 10.

Turn off Spatial sound format on windows 10

and do this

After seson 1 update, sound is bugged on ps4. Not just me but my friends have the same issue. 90% of the time no footsteps sound and enemy fire at you no sound. In the begining had no problem with sound at all. 

Here is the deal.

I have tried every possible so-called solution to fix this audio issue.

I have tried with all kinds of windows/game/headset sounds settings/combinations.

I have repaired the game countless times.

Re-Installed everything, including Origin thrice.

I've fiddled with sound quality on windows.

I've tried playing on speakers.

My third installation of the game was on a clean software/windows and drivers and only thing I have installed was Apex after the drivers.

Let me tell you one thing; It's not you. It's the game and the * servers mate. Don't change the settings which already are working as intended because people think that's fixed it for them. 
It can't and it won't because the problem is on EA's/ Respawn's side. It might get fixed for a couple games just to be reproduced for no * reason. Even Dr. Disrespect ranted on this issue on live stream.

This probably will be my last entry because me and my friends are done with this game.

I hope you don't get cancer trying to play this game. It was fun but equally awful because of this particular and neglected issue.

Edit: It happens on all platforms, not just Windows. So please, do yourself a favor and don't try anything suggested in regards to fixing the audio problem. Until it gets patched which I'm fairly sure will not because of months and thousands of complaints were there and they couldn't do jack sh.t and it's still there. Just because some people don't experience this issue doesn't mean it's working as intended. Apex took a giant hit in the ballz just because of these technical issues.

I just happened to fix this myself, if you go down and open up your sound settings> playback tab > select your headphones > spatial sound> and turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound with windows sonic it should start to sound how its meant to. Hope this helps!

Marking these two as a temporary solution since it seems to be helping others searching for this issue on our forums. 

The Apex Legends team is aware of audio issues and are looking to address them as soon as possible. This was mentioned in a recent update from Respawn. It was also touched up on back on 3/28 in this post.
