Also, have you tried to put the mouse in another USB port?
Make sure you have the latest drivers,
Have you restored default settings ingame to see if this resolve the issue?
if non above work, could you please try and see if the issue remains if you change fire to mouse 2 and try if that "fixes" the issue? I ask this so i know faster if its connection, mouse, or pc/game issue.
@EzyHawk I am using a Razor Deathadder elite on a cord but it isnt the hardware. I play many other games and Apex AFTER the latest patch, is the only one that malfunctions. This just happened 2 mins ago with a completely different mouse (Razor deathadder from 2013) in another USB port.
I literally started to hold LMB simunatiusly as I ADS on the Caustic, and nothing happens for several deciseconds.... SO annoying =(
Yeah I deleted all folders related to Apex when I did my reinstallation of Origin and Apex, including the folders in "Saved games". It seems to me that this bug occurs more often when there is much happening on the screen, and especially when the "prediction error" symbol flashes. A friend and I played some Apex at my apartment just recently and obviously then used the exact same connection on the same router etc. And at one time, we BOTH had the prediction error flashing where my mid range rig got terrible rubber-banding, making it impossible for me to even move whereas he didnt even noticed it on his $4000 monster rig. Maybe its some kind of incompatibility with my Computer rig and prediction error or something =(

However prediction error is often happening duo high ping/latency, to explain simple, When you play there is always a server 'lag', so your client 'Predicts' what enemies does using packages, however when you get packages loss or a high ping your pc wont be fed all the data and therefor receive this error.
