I am experiencing a significant issue with severe input delay while playing Apex Legends on my PlayStation. Here's a detailed explanation of the problem:
Input Delay: There is a noticeable lag between my controller inputs and the game's response. For example:
Moving the analog stick causes a delay of about 1.5 seconds before the cursor or character registers the movement.
Button inputs (X, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2) also lag significantly, making the game unplayable.
Troubleshooting Attempts:
I have deleted and re-downloaded the game multiple times with no improvement.
I have tried different servers but still face the same issue.
I tested several controllers, and the problem persists.
I tried playing Apex on different accounts on my PlayStation, and the issue remains.
I reset all in-game settings back to default, but the issue was not resolved.
However, this issue only occurs with Apex Legends. Other games on my PlayStation run smoothly without any input delay.
When I used my Apex Legends account on a different PlayStation, the issue did not occur.
Additional Details:
My internet connection is wired, so it’s not a Wi-Fi signal issue.
My ping averages between 30-50ms, indicating stable network performance.
This is a brand-new issue that started around the first week of November, I have been playing Apex Legends for years without any problems like this before. Also, this issue appears to be isolated to Apex running on my PlayStation.
