Re: Account merged with daughters.

Hey @tigerfursonly,

This would happen if you both had separate platforms connected to the same EA account when Cross Progression took place.

You would need to have your platforms linked to separate EA accounts to be able to play simultaneously.

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

Unfortunately, whichever account is unlinked from this EA account will lose access to the progress here as a result and would be starting from scratch on the new account.

Please feel free to check the FAQ below as it has a bit more information on this exact scenario, thanks.

  • That's super brutal

    So she basically lost her account.

    Okay so how do I remove my 2 other accounts from this merge. Cause where we are now. We cant even play together at all.

    How can I make it so the accounts have new ea accounts and we can play again

    ? I've tried following guides for months. Nothing works.

    @TIGERFURKER

    If you have multiple accounts from the same platform (i.e. two PlayStation or Xbox accounts), you won't be able to unlink them on your end.

    If that's not the case, these steps will let you unlink another platform account from your EA account.

    If you have any trouble unlinking whether that's an issue with the steps above or because you have two of the same platform connected, our support will need to help with that unlinking process.

    In that situation you can create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information.  Those options will let you get in touch with the support team so they can assist further.

    At that point you'll have the platform unlinked from this EA account. All you need to do from there is try launching Apex with that account again. If it's not linked to an EA account, it will prompt you to log into an EA account to continue.

    Once you see that, you'll just want to enter the new EA account login info rather than using this one again. The support team may also be able to help link this directly to the new EA account if you had reached out to them to get it unlinked initially.
