Perfect, thanks! Can you test something else for me when you've got a chance? I'm curious what happens if you try launching Apex Legends from a different administrator account in Windows. For more information on how to create a new admin user check out the Microsoft Support website.
Let me know if you're still getting the same error message when you're launching the game on a different user. Thanks!

Yup, same message as a different administrative account.

Have you checked to make sure there are exceptions for Apex Legends and Easy Anti-Cheat in Avast? I've seen some cases where security software can trigger issues like this.

I have, that also didn’t work. If it helps, other games like Fortnite that use Easy Anticheat work fine, but I’m seeing some errors for games like Valorant.
Its valorant and its built in anticheat [Admin - removed]

Have you had the chance to try any other troubleshooting at all since this started happening for you? If so, what have you done so far? I just want to make sure we can avoid repeating any steps if we don't have to.
Thanks!/Kent
Resurrecting this old thread because I'm having this exact issue - only since this latest season though. I've disabled Valorant's service and still no luck. I've done several repairs of the game to no avail, even uninstalled/reinstalled. Tried both through Steam and the EA app with identical symptoms. It rarely works, but when it does I can play a match or two before getting kicked again.
Running Win11 with Microsoft Defender antivirus. Both anti-cheat and Apex folders have been excluded from AV with no effect - same behavior whether the folders are excluded or not.
Same issue since last week, hope someone will come up with fix.
this is annoying
Alright, it's all fixed for me (before the latest update) and the root cause was flaky internet due to a broken fiber from the pole to my house leading to very high packet loss. TCP procotols handled it OK, but UDP did not. I'd been seeing the packet loss icon in game for a while, but didn't think it would affect Anti-Cheat validation. New fiber installed Monday, Apex anti-cheat validation has been reliable since.
yes mine fixed too now, apparently after update. cheers
