@Tradables game crashed in lobby formation when players are loading into the match

  • @jkr63 it may be a repeat of annoying circumstances but what platform are you playing apex on?
    Go ahead and fully uninstall everything relating to apex. All folders, everything.
    Then try the other platform origin or steam. Which ever you weren't using. And see what happens

    Im sure you were able to play fine before but what are your Full PC specs.
    This includes gpu,ram,cpu,windows 7,10,11(64 or 32bit)

    @Tradables yea this started like 4 or 5 days ago. GPU is AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 64GB RAM, Windows 10 64 bit
  • @jkr63 Can you make sure that your anti virus / Firewall is not blocking apex / EAC?
    if they arent or are being blocked. Set them to allow anyways. both Easyanticheat and R5Apex.exe.
  • @jkr63 Okay, Lets start looking at your account settings then.
    do you have any accounts linked? The only other option i can think of is that you have 2 origin accounts linked to the same account by accident.
    Can you check to see if you have anything linked via connections in your origin settings? and if so, have you changed any of that information? Only 1 Linked account is aloud per origin account, and switching those up can cause issues.

    You will go to your Game Libary -> Right click Properties, and there will be a text box you can enter certain commands into.
    Same with origin, you will go to your Game library -> Apex -> Game Properties -> Advanced Launch options.

    If there's something in those boxes, Get rid of it. it might be the cause.
    If there is not anything in those boxes try this:
    IMPORTANT NOTE: the 60/144 and 60/189 is based on your monitors refresh rate. Get rid of both of those values if they are not accurate. If you have a 60hz monitor, then you'll get rid of 144, and visa/versa. Having a capped frame rate of no more than 189 will help with any further issues as i found out anything over this causes frame tearing and other in game issues.

    -high -preload -freq 60/144 +fps_max 189 +gfx_nvnUseLowLatency 1 -dev -novid
  • @jkr63 If everything up to this point is crashing still, uninstall all graphic drivers, and download the updated drivers. If that still does not work. download the graphic drivers BEFORE the latest.
    and if possible, does Ryzen have a way to optimize games in their software? If so, it might be of best interest to be able to re-optimize the game to its lowest settings. This sounds like it could very well be a bad driver update if nothing else has worked.
    These drivers are very crucial for the game to be able to process.
  • @jkr63 So you've done the following
    - Updated and uninstalled graphic drivers
    - Uninstalled and re installed the game on both platforms
    - Added Launch options and capped FPS
    - Checked for account being double linked
    - Applied the settings in firewall / anti virus for EAC and R5Apex.exe
    - Followed every other step unrelated to internet listed in the guide


    This may be very annoying however it might be worth trying
    go through and check for updates on everything, and i mean everything. other drivers, windows updates. and if that doesn't work...

    Preform a clean boot on your PC

    This is a last resort kind of ordeal but this may fix anything that could be resulting in a windows problem not allowing you to access certain files pertaining to applications and can be caused by a more recent Windows update. However this should fix most if not a good chunk of problems.

    @Tradables i'm pretty sure i just followed the instructions correctly and it still crashed. is there a way to read some sort of crash log to figure out what process is breaking?
  • @jkr63If they are sent they will be in your documents folder.

    Also if you can, Could you grab a DxDiag so that i can take a look at the system.

  • @jkr63 Okay, before i suggest this next thing, and yes i know this sounds very repetative but i want to make sure this is entierly everything.

    1: Disable Startup Programs, to many running can cause problems.
    2: Disable Apex Legends Full-screen Optimizations
    3: Run Apex Legends as Administrator this can be done in application settings
    4: Check Apex Legends System Requirements and make sure your pc meets all of them
    5: Use No Alt + Tab Key
    6: Repair Apex Legends Game Files
    7: Update the Graphics Driver
    8: Uninstall and Update Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages
    9: Disable Windows 10 Game DVR
    10: Disable Easy Anti-cheat Service
    11: Increase the Visual Memory
    12: Change Apex Legends Frame Rate (which would be capped in Launch options)
    13: Download Apex Legends Update Patch (if one is available)
    14: Uninstall and Reinstall Apex Legends

    If none of this works. the Best advice i can honestly give you and its a VERY LAST RESORT. is to reinstall windows completely. (Requires USB 8GB) Re install all chipset drivers and graphic drivers, Update bios (requires USB 8GB). This solution usually works but its a lot of recovery work if you have important documents.

    @Tradables i did a full reinstall of windows and its still happening. any idea how that could even happen? I basically only have Origin and Apex on here
  • same problem cant play * my pc up big time trying to fix but it turns out to be apex and nothing but apex as ive had to do a clean install and its 

    the same crash at start screen every other game works fine what a joke wasted hours on this

    @Tradables any other potential options? if not, no worries but it just sucks to not be able to play the game and this seems to be the only game effected.

  • @jkr63 Hey did u guys fix the problem? i just got it and i did everything even reinstall windows, keep crashing in lobby and I can play seems stable, but still closing, non error showing and I checked temps and seems good idk what is happening
