It's a bug! Workarounds are not acceptable.
BTW turning on borderless window makes the picture overbrightened comparing to usual fullscreen.

Hai,
Try navigating to your game file location and right click the r5apex.exe file.
Then open properties and click the compatability tab.
Tick the disable fullscreen optimisations and then apply.
There is a current issue with Apex which the gamma settings in windows is reset when using fullscreen mode.
